Trolling the Bills, Jets, Bears, and Browns. Wow. Trolling the Browns so hard they changed his username. That’s one way for a chiefs fan to feel good about themselves.

Is this a joke alt-account from a Broncos fan trying to make Chiefs fans look pathetic?

You might want to check with John Fox about that.

Yes. I am here to troll you. If Alex Smith was still the QB, I wouldn't be here. Smith = Keenum.

The golden era of Chiefs football is upon us. You are done. You know it. You knew it the second you signed Case Keenum. It meant you were steering clear of a QB at the draft, and while that wouldn't have guarenteed anything (see Paxton Lynch) it means your front office is GOOD to go with "above average" instead of striving for greatness.

You're a dunce. Outside of decisions made by the Brownies and Jets, the two worst drafting QB teans in the league, no other NFL teams had the available QB's marked for their goals in "striving for greatness". The guy considered the most ready dropped to 10th, and the most talented guy lasted till the 7th pick.

Only a dimwit would take passing on the available coin flips as an indication that we are done for the next 15 years...or even this year.

I have read the responses here....you folks really put alot of stock into "box score" analysis. If you are going to judge a QB on the 283 and a pick stat line in the Denver game as the basis of your analysis, then you are missing quite a bit. ....afterall....if you just used a box score to judge Alex Smith, you'd think he was a great QB (he is good, but not great) ...the box score doesn't show you all the times he abandons a clean pocket, misses the open target downfield because he is no looking for a place to run. He gains 3 yards on 3rd and 8 and we punt. The box score shows that as a positive play. The QB ratings systems show that as a positive play. In reality..it was a horrible football play. He didn't take a sack, he didn't throw a pic..so QBR and QB Rating reward that....but he basically killed the drive. Happens alot with Smith.

What you can't see looking at Mahomes stat line from the Denver game are the amazing throws he makes that just about no one else has the arm to make. Again, he made these types of throws in the pre season. It isn't that he was in a preseason game and put up stats...that isn't what I am talking about. If you are being chased by 2 or 3 guys who are all over you, rolling out, and you can uncork a strike 30 yards downfield to a covered target, that is cool to see once. It's nice to see it twice. When the guy throws lazers consistantly on target in these situations, you can see it's not fluke or dumb luck. Based on Box Score alone, you could argue that Lynch isn't a bust. You could compare his box score now to others who had played the same number of games at this point in their careers and you could say, wow, Peyton manning was awful after his first 5 games...but Lynch has been average..he could be a star. NO ONE here is promoting Paxton Lynch as a star....because you all are using your eyes to judge what you see, not what the box score tells you.

The Chiefs likewise, didn't trade away Smith based on his box score stats and Mahomes very small sample of box score stats...they made that trade based on what they've seen him do on the field in practice, in preseason and in the Denver game...and throughout his college career. (again, air raid box score stats are always off the charts...that isn't what to look for when evaluating a QB)

Mahomes is going to be incredible. Case Keenum is going to be incredibly ordinary. Bask in your fading glory while you can.
That’s a really really long way to say he has “potential”... good for you and your ****ty franchise.

You know what the items in this fantastic list have in common? dilrod chief fans telling us year after year that a new era in Chiefs football has begun. Yet in that time...Denver, SD and Oakland have all made superbowl appearances. Denver has 3 SB wins.

The Chefs had their most consistent teams of the last 20 years in the last three seasons, and you traded that guy to Washington for a bag of chips. You did nothing of note to fix the trash heap that is your defense. You are arguably the least talented team in the AFC West and that includes a 5-11 Broncos squad.

So...crazy idea. Actually win before you run your mouth.

                  Assbag.

The bolded puts a smile on my face.

Yes it is an alt-account troll. He’s a “lurker” on chiefsplanet but is at like 4 other teams boards.

                    • A Chief fan gets excited when his team gets hold of an Air-Raid QB who needs to work on footwork and other similar issues those guys struggle with, sees him have one meaningless game, then pronounces him a "generational talent", setting the stage for the "Golden era of Chiefs football".

The bar is set really low in that town.

                      • ....clearly I am a biased Chiefs fan...so right away, anything I might have to say is met with ridicule and disdain..that's fine...I'll quote some guys whose opinions you probably respect quite a bit more than mine.

Von Miller - He came out and made some great throws, He’s a rookie, still, and got out there and played lights out. We had some ones out there and he still came through and played. Hats off to Mahomes."

“He’s going to be the quarterback of the future. He’s going to be a great quarterback. He has great scramble ability. He can scramble and throw the ball. He’s going to be a great quarterback.”

Aqib Talib - “I saw enough of Patrick Mahomes to think Alex Smith is going to be a free agent next year,” “That guy can play some ball. That guy can play some ball. He’s smart. I saw him checking protections, I saw him reading the defense. We know how strong his arm is. The guy is a competitor. I think Alex Smith, he definitely might be on the market this year.

“The guy (Mahomes) got an AK-47 for an arm. He can throw it wherever he wants. It doesn’t matter if he’s running left or right. He’s got a gun for an arm and it shows on the field.”

Or...mabye take a look at this breakdown. Baldy does these all year long for a lot of players and teams...pretty good stuff.

Well, I can tell you, in all honesty, that I'd rather have Keenum than Mahomes. At least for the next two years.

I've never been bowled over by QBs from Tech or Wazoo with their big college numbers ... few people are. Bet you didn't know that Case Keenum is the all-time leading passer in college football history.

But hey ... did you know Shane Ray has a tattoo of a Chiefs logo? How about a trade: Ray and a 4th rounder for Eric Fisher. Man, you gotta have that tattoo!
