I doubt late round, probably 2nd or 3rd.

I can't go back to the Keenum thread, that **** is just...wow.

If he won't be ready to play for 2 years it'd be hard to justify using a 2nd or 3rd, right?

Lol, yeah that thread went off the rails.

Rankin is going to end up playing OG but could be a swing OT if need be.He could play after a year but he really needs to get stronger. He could be an okay OT on the NFL level but he could really show out being an athletic OG.Just needs to spend lots of time in the weight room.He worked out at center today too.

Good kid and hard worker so he'll get it done.

Rankin had a good day....he needs 2 years sitting though...he has to hit the weightroom and get stronger.Plus he is on the raw side.

Jordan Thomas is a TE that is going to get a lot of looks late in the draft..he has freak tools but brick hands.

Most of the scouts there are waiting on State's 2019 draft group. They(scouts) said State will have one of the top 3 to 4 teams in the SEC in 2018 with 6 to 7 guys who will be drafted.Jeff Simmons and Montez Sweat being the gems.

Only thing I was able to find out about the Broncos is the scouts I was able to spend some time and talk with don't believe Elway will draft Mayfield. In fact one said if Lynch wasn't on roster Elway would be doing everything he could to get Josh Allen. Not shocker here but Sam Danold and the Browns have already agreed to a deal...he is going to be the 1st pick per the scouts I talked with.
Great stuff! I’m starting to think we are going to go OG or ILB given the last few interviews at the owners meeting.

Yeah Hail State is really turning things around. You guys really give us a hard time when we play y’all (I’m a LSU guy). But I love watching my guy Keytaon Thompson. Dude light it up in high school in New Orleans and from what I heard was a really good guy.

Oh I'm a lifelong Sooner fan...just have a family member that's long be part of the Miss State football/athletic staff there so have an "in".I've known some of their past players because of that.I like how they run things there with it being one of the smallest budgets in the SEC.

He's got good athleticism, moves well and is raw, those guys tend to go fairly early if they are also high character.

Yea he is a really good kid.He was the #1 ranked JUCO OL but knew he wasn't ready and went to the staff and said he needed a redshirt year.Very well thought out kid. He'll do well in the NFL long term.

I like him a lot, I thought him, McGlinchey and Williams would be the 3 most talked about OT's in this draft.
