We will once everyone comes to grips KC contract means gutting a team and praying to hit on two drafts in a row at athletic positions!

        • Gutting this team is the right move to be honest. The “championship” caliber defense is two years and 6 players removed. And it sounds like Talib will be another player out this offseason. The offense... well, it hasn’t been a championship caliber offense since the year before we won SB 50. SB 50 was a miracle.

Sadly, this team needs to be gutted. And if I can see it, best believe Cousins and his agent see it as well.

And, would it not make sense for Elway and Co. to not see the same thing... thus keeping Joseph knowing that paying yet another coach isn’t going to help until they get some talent at several different positione?

I sort of agree. I think we can keep (need to keep) some top players - but we need to go all in on a top Qb pick and culture him with another vet on the OL as well as sign a cheap 2 year vet with the rookie starting late in his rookie season to transition to 2019. We will have good position as well in that draft which gives us 2 years to hit on another rusher to compliment 58 al la Ware situation. I would also trade. I personally don’t believe in Ray and would trade him while his value is highest which is now. We can find his production with Shaq and future pick/fa. Also need a vet at rb, cheaper option then Cj.

Edit - new coach in 19 as well.

I agree. Bump Bolles over to RT, draft Nelson at G and lets go.

                  • Solder is very average in pass pro and that is with Tom Brady getting rid of the ball quickly. He is a good run blocker but i put him in the Okung class of tackles. Solid, dependable but not anywhere near the best tackles in the game. Do you want to pay 10m plus for that? I dont. The game last season Pats against the Chargers he was like a turnstile against Ingram and Bosa. The AFC west is not a good match up for Solder. I like Pugh, Hubbard or Austin Howard if he gets released by the Ravens as tackles who will cost half of Solder but who are close in ability.

                    • Gutting this team is retarded. Why?

What exactly would that do to make us better. I do not understand why people say that. We lost good players so lets go ahead and get rid of more good players on our team.
                      Brilliant

Worry Solder is a product of the Pats scheme and Brady's quick decision making.

Wouldnt mind getting one of their other tackles (Fleming or Waddle), who will be MUCH cheaper than Solder is gonna be.

I don't want him because he's the elite of the elite. I want him because he's a winner and a leader. We need to create a new culture on offense and getting a guy like Solder would be huge.

                            • The quarterback, who is guaranteed $26.5 million in the new deal (per Rapoport), was scheduled to make $19 million in 2018. He'll instead make an average of $18 million per season from 2018 to 2020. Bortles can make a maximum of $66.5 million with all incentives and escalators included, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.
