  • Looking for the best Broncos fans to feature

My name is Robert Sanchez, and I'm a contributor to ESPN The Magazine. I am looking for Broncos superfans who will be attending the home game against the Chiefs on Nov. 17.

If you are someone who throws amazing tailgate parties, has been to every Broncos-Chiefs game since the 1960s, has lots of Broncos tattoos, or anything like that, I'd like to talk to you. If you know someone who is a Broncos superfan, please tell them about this, too.

My personal email address is robertlsanchez (at) comcast (dot) net.

Here are a couple stories I've done for The Magazine, just so you know I'm legit:

Thanks for your time. I hope to hear from some of you.

    Robert

We have some great tailgaters and some super fans on here. Hopefully a few come forward to volunteer.

Just stay away from the leprechaun. That guy is annoying.

This is the guy you want. http://www.orangemane.com/BB/member.php?u=3049

He hasn't missed a Broncos game home and away for YEARS. I'm not sure what the final count is but as far as I know there isn't another Bronco fan out there who can claim anything close. Yeah it's impressive to not miss home games for a few decades bet let's face it. That's not that hard. To make EVERY home game and away game for several years running now that's dedication.

Oh as far as what he looks like? He wears an Orange Broncos jersey and orange pants. That's it. No make up, No bs. Straight up Broncos fan.

Click on that link Meck sent you. On the page that opens you will see a blue menu bar. The furthest right is Contact info. You can send him a private message. He also has some IM chat listings.

There are others here but I don't want to point them out in case they would prefer not to have the attention.

You will be able to fund some around the different communities pretty easily. Just stay away from that leprechaun, he doesn't care about the Broncos he only cares about being the leprechaun.

Nobody likes the Leprechaun guy. Fortunately, there are quite a few fans that fit what you are looking for, and hopefully as said earlier they volunteer.

Thanks Blart but our tailgate group had it's moment in Sports Illustrated already.

This one IMO goes to Miles. I really can't think of another Broncos fan out there beating the tailgate lot, travelling the road like he is.

                *edit*

So Miles hasn't missed a home or away game for TEN YEARS Robert. TEN YEARS. We're talking 150+ games.

I wonder if any other NFL fan in the league can even say that?

Yes a huge fan, but how long? I only first heard of him when he started That's Good Broncos, which is part of That's Good Sports. I don't know I would call him a super fan, maybe a super entrepreneur.

He's a graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado... I'd guess he grew up here.

Sure I am sure he is, but a superfan as described? Hard to tell. Just because he started. Funny YouTube show this year it doesn't mean he is a superfan. Hell our podcast has been running for a few years now.

Okay, I get what you're saying. I wasn't totally grasping the superfan notion before...
