                          Remember when Shanny got his "gleam" back? I think it happened right after the Cutler draft. There was a big discussion here about rediscovering the gleam in Shanny's eye that had been lost for a few years.

                            No, this was before he drafted Cutler. There was a thread about someone playing golf with Shanahan and they mentioned he spoke of the team optimistically and said there was a "gleam in his eye" like something was up. Everyone thought we were going to sign TO that year or something similarly big. Turns out nothing too major happened that offseason and soon we realized the story was blown way out of proportion.
