  • Some Stats

After 5 games these become a little more relevant IMO. Passer rating-

Obviously Manning is off the charts here. Interesting Brady & Flacco at 22 & 27

We are #1 in sacks allowed with 5 -

This is even more impressive when you look at it sorted on passing attempts. All the other teams in the top 5 passing attempts have allowed double digit sacks -

Defense #29 in yards per game at 416.6

    Defense scoring #24 at 27.8

    Still # 1 in rushing defense -

Shaun Phillips is 5th in sacks-

I didn't post team offense stats because we are pretty much #1 in any and all relevant categories besides team rushing in which we are 15th. Although I will post the only one that matters because its frickin' ridiculous-

Dumervil with 3 sacks, and that's with a healthy Suggs to take pressure off him.

Once teams have to double Von...Ayers and Phillips are going to have a little more space to do what they want but I think their pace will stay the same or lessen because Von will still beat them to it

With a team giving up over 416 yards a game though the air (Denver) when does the other team have time to run the ball

now giving up over 27 points a game, this defense has a ton of work to do.

Thank god we have PFM and this offense.
