He will never live up to the expectation of his draft spot. But here is a little applause for someone who faced the adversity and has seemingly carved out a contributing role on this football team rather fade away as so many do.

He is protecting the ball, running with authority, blocking well for Peyton and being a threat in the underneath passing game. Thumbs up to Knowshon.

I think he's running like a first rounder this season. It's great to see him healthy and running like he's angry. Every time he's on the field he brings fire. He's got something to prove, and he's out there proving it every week. Here's to his health!

He's a pro now for sure. Jack of all trades. Some of the best pass blocking I can remember. Real gritty lunch bucket type work.

Today he was dominant. He gained 5 yards per carry plus 11 yards per catch for 150 yards and 1 TD. The fake that Manning walked in before half time was also sold by him and showed how much respect the Cowboys had for him. He was great in all aspects of the game, running, catching and blocking. He has definitely arrived and right now he is playing his way to a big deal in the offseason.

I officially got off his ass last year, but he is doing great this season in all phases.

It might be accurate to say he hasn't lived up to his draft status, but it is inaccurate to say he won't....the future has yet to be determined.

On this Manning led team he has 841 yards rushing in his 11 starts, which averages out to about 77 rushing yards per start....add in his 282 receiving yards (26 yards per start) and he's averaging 103 total yards per start with Manning as his QB.

He's still not as dynamic as he was in college, but he is exactly the back this team needs

He's a key member of the offense. He's not going to be among the league leaders in rushing. He's not going to make the high light play. But he's always making positive plays, rushing and receiving. He's there when you need him, and he helps move the chains. Looking at where he was a couple years ago, this is a great story.

He's hung in there, that's for sure. Good for him for working his ass off. Heck of a game today. Props to Moreno.

He's also probably going to be pretty affordable to re-sign. Is like to see them extend him before the end of the season.

Knowshon? Lashawn McCoy says, on twitter, that he sucks. But....he looked pretty good to me. Some of those runs were outstanding.
