  • Broncos will trade Tebow if they land Manning

    http://www.itsalloverfatman.com/bron...y-land-manning

Good buddy Vic Lombardi's Twitter feed is quite interesting tonight. He is reporting that, according to his sources inside Dove Valley, the Broncos believe they have a real shot at getting Peyton Manning. Other developments include the following:

1.Peyton Manning has a good relationship with John Fox.
2.The Broncos will try and sell Manning on their running game and stable offensive line.
3.Fox will, in essence, turn the offense over to Manning (no doubt).
4.If the Broncos land Manning, Tim Tebow will be traded.
None of this is shocking, of course, other than the part about the Broncos standing a serious chance of landing arguably the greatest quarterback ever to play the game.

I’m glad we had this talk. Now, vaya con Dios, Brah.

I'm not opposed to the idea, but it seems short term. Manning would be brought in for 3 years TOPS, and mentoring Tebow a la
Rodgers would be his gig. Tebow would be 27ish by the time he is a full time starter, which could be to the benefit to all parties involved.

I am not getting caught up in the at all... Enough people around here are already going ape shiat dreaming about Mario Williams, Now the rest of you have the Manning drool bib on.

I just do not see either happening.

Then we'll only have 2 more Superbowl rings. I WANTED THREE MORE!

or would give plenty of time to find the QB of the future.

Since Peyton Manning's career began, Trent Dilfer has as many rings as Peyton Manning.

Think about that for a minute.

Exactly. Take a QB next year.

God, I don't even know how to feel about this.

Don't know if you noticed. But the reason Manning's a free agent is because teams can't afford both Manning and a premier QBOTF prospect.

                              Playing with fire.

The organization enjoys doing it over and over.
