I think you can erase Christie from the mix. New Jersey is about to go belly up. Atlantic City already has. Trump declared bankruptcy. Again.

Military leaders like Washington and Eisenhower are more experienced to be Commander-in-Chief.

I disagree, they are more experience on foreign policy. I love how you conveniently left out Grant. His Presidency was one of the worst ever and not because he was a bad guy or a failed military leader. He was so poor because he had no idea on how to run a government and his Presidency was wracked with scandals.

A little more sympathy for one of America's greatest generals?

Here is a pretty in depth list and description of who and why they might run.

"14 Republicans who might run for President."

Cruz is not eligible. The Constitution says you must be a "natural born citizen." Surely, the Tea Party would never allow a guy born in Canada to become president. Right? As we learned from the Obama birther controversy, even if born to an American mother on Indonesian/Kenyan soil, Obama is some kind of commie plant. So how can Cruz, who was born in leftist Canada to Cuban parents, be eligible? Talk about a commie plant!

Like one teabagger said..... "I don't think of Canada as a foreign country."

Doves clearly prefer Clinton despite the fact that a few more respondents (correctly) perceive her to be a hawk. However, Clinton also seems to benefit from the fact that 30% of respondents inexplicably perceive her as a dove, and only 27% perceive Paul that way. For all of the attention paid to Paul’s foreign policy views in political media over the last few years, his position is not very well-known or clear to the public at large, since 24% identify him as a hawk and 49% aren’t sure what to call him. Oddly enough, that might be just what Paul wants, since it gives him room to move back and forth between hawkish and dovish stances.

Just curious how is that different than rich people and corporations funding the Republicans with money because they promise to continue the corporate welfare state that exists.

Does it bother you that people who work at Wal Mart full time are so poor that they are on food stamps? AND Wal Mart openly encourages their employees to get on food stamps as opposed to paying them more?

                              Another right-wing double standard, eh?

There's nothing they profess to hate more than socialism - yet their economic philosophy basically boils down to "privatize the profits and socialize the costs."

                              Exactly.

These right-wing goobers hate "handouts" with a passion - but watch them do a complete 180 when asked to open their wallets to subsidize WalMart's workers.

Wouldn't want poor ol' Sam's kids to have to squeak by on 90 billion instead of 100 billion, would we?

And going against the Walton family might hurt our chances of getting some of their table scraps someday.

That's easy: Cruz has an 'R' after his name.

Totally different set of rules now.

BTW, here's one guy who wouldn't stand a chance nowadays...
