  • A family gets kicked off a Southwest flight for a tweet

Apparently an A-lister tried to get his children to board with him but the flight attendant said no so he tweeted her name and the gate at DIA.

I got to say though...I freaking hate it when I purchase to board early on Southwest and people sneak their whole families in line or save seats. I think what this guy tried to do was cheap but Southwest overreacted.

    What are your thoughts?

Meh, he is a tool and the gate woman did what all airport personnel do these days, overreact and behave like little kings.

Don't make a ruckus at the airport- there is a zero tolerance policy, why is that so hard for people to understand?

The thing about the internet is that when you complain about someone and include their name, there's a chance they can receive threats.

You know if he was trying to get other adults on that would be one thing, but as a parent? If I have a 6 and 9 yr old with me I'd do the same thing he did but without the douche tweet part. I think most passengers are pretty tolerant when it comes to the kid stuff. Mind you I'm not talking about trying to get 10 kids on either. Gate agent blew it, he blew it and didn't realize not everyone agrees with your opinion when you tweet. Expect backlash.

Don't they already let families board after the A group anyway?

            What a douche

Someday, every individual will be an online brand and your rating and reputation will dictate your access to the economy. Kind of like a credit rating, but taken to an exponential level of intrusion. Already, everyone should be aware that everything they say and do (especially on line) is no longer private.

If only he and his family were illegal, they could board without much problems or ID.
