  • Why can't we get a Infrastructure Deal?

Why do you think that we can not get deal on bill providing much needed funds for an infrastructure bank to fund critical needs in this country. If you haven't been paying attention the federal account that splits funding of road projects with the states is running out next month and many states will suspend current projects because they don't have the money to continue on alone.

Why won't Congress at least bring this to floor for a vote?

I don’t have a problem with putting up toll booths on all highways but it will definitely boost the costs of goods and services.

The Obama administration wants to opened the door for states to collect tolls on interstate highways to raise revenue for roadway repairs.

The proposal, contained in a four-year, $302 billion White House transportation bill, would reverse a long-standing federal prohibition on most interstate tolling.

So what other government regulation do you support?
Shocking that Obama may want to get rid of a government regulation so that states can raise revenue.

The road fund is running dry because of electric cars, more fuel effecient cars using less gas. It's mostly funded by the 18 cent a gallon gas tax.

So the govt will now set up tolls to get the money that way.

I don't have a problem with the states being in charge of their own interstates. But the feds are in charge of interstate commerce so you could argue maintaining them one of the actual jobs they should be doing.

Congress won't pass any legislation unless it is off-set by cuts in domestic programs. Forget about oil subsides, tax increases, military cuts or tax loopholes..

IT HAS TO BE CUTS THAT WILL HURT THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS

Obama has got to spend more money then any other President so it's not like he's broke. Revenue is soaring thanks to all his tax raising and the sequester.

He should have plenty of money.

Revenue is hardly soaring. Need to go back to the same tax rates under Clinton.

The only tax rates Obama raised was on people who make more than a $1,000,000 a year.

Need to ask Congress why they have voted on repealing the ACA 55 times but have not passed ONE jobs' bill.
