  • CIA caught lying to Congress (again)

Check out this news report about the CIA's latest gambit to avoid accountability.

The CIA was caught deceiving the Senate intelligence committee, and may also have been covertly surveilling the computers of the committee members.

At issue is a 6,400 page report about the CIA's secret detention and torture program - after 9/11. The CIA is pulling out all the stops to prevent the report from being made public.

The CIA misled Congress, the White House, and the public. Nothing new. It's been going on since 1947. The question is, when will the nation decide to do what Truman belatedly said was necessary - and what JFK was planned to do -- disband the agency.

Has the biggest CIA booster finally seen the light?

Sen Diane Feinstein just gave the CIA a 40 minute tongue lashing for spying on her own committee -- which is charged with CIA oversight! Incredible.

    Video Young Turks

Sen. Dianne Feinstein's bombshell accusation about the Central Intelligence Agency Tuesday set off a scramble on Capitol Hill — with Democrats and Republicans ignoring the usual party lines in response to her claim that the agency improperly interfered in a congressional investigation.

The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

The CIA has just used the same old strategy to avoid accountability --- just when the CIA is about to be exposed -- they attack the investigators...

This pattern has played out many times over the years. MHG

Kennedy was right: break up the CIA into a zillion pieces, watching each other rather than us.

JFK was right about a lot of things. He was right about Gladio. The US intelligence community had to tone it down during JFK's presidency. He would not tolerate CIA-sponsored coups and terrorism in Europe on his watch.

No doubt,, another reason they killed him. MHG

More lies from the CIA...surprised? You can't make this stuff up.

This confirms what I and some others have been saying all along. Torture is not an effective way to get information.
