The Greatest Scandal In American History: The Trump Cover Up Of A Looming Public Health Crisis.

This should be the scandal of the century. In a rational world it would destroy Trump’s Presidency and end the Republican Party as a political force for years. For weeks the President of the United States, and many in his party, engaged in a systematic cover up of a looming public health crisis. When it came, as they were warned it would, hundreds (likely thousands or tens of thousands before it is through) of Americans would die. A nation enjoying a prolonged period of economic prosperity would be pushed into a recession. While those engaged in this cover up did not prepare the nation, they often prepared themselves, their political supporters, and their families, for the financial shock by dumping soon to be greatly devalued stocks.

This is no Presidential cover up of a burglary, or lying about some Oval Office fellatio. It’s not even akin to seeking foreign help to smear your political opponents. This is life and death, and economic ruin for millions of Americans, spawned by the most malicious lies, corruption, and cover up imaginable.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. The neocons completely got away with the WMD bull**** invasion of Iraq. There is every indication that this crisis will simply prove finally that propaganda is much more powerful than reality. Don't be surprised if Trump gets re-elected in a landslide. Try not to get too depressed. Drink Brawndo. It has electrolytes. The Visigoths are at the gates.

This crisis is a lot closer to home.

The right-wing chicken hawks with the "support the troops" bumper stickers didn't have to witness the carnage in Iraq first-hand.

When the morgues start overflowing, and when enough of the victims are members of their own tribe, then the cult followers will turn on President Game Show Host.

Senator Richard Burr Sold D.C. Townhouse to Donor at a Rich Price

In a private transaction, Richard Burr, Republican of North Carolina, sold the townhouse to lobbyists who had business before his committees.

                  L0L.

What does this have to do with the thread topic?

Desperate times call for desperate deflections, apparently.

lmao. you dont even know who the thread you made is about.

The chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Richard Burr, has come under fire in recent weeks for unloading stock holdings right before the market crashed on fears of coronavirus and for a timely sale of shares in an obscure Dutch fertilizer company.

Senator's cellphone seized amid federal investigation of stock trades made ahead of COVID-19 spread

Months after it was revealed that he had made dozens of questionable stock trades ahead of a global pandemic—and advised wealthy constituents to do the same—Republican Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina had his cellphone seized by federal agents Wednesday night. The agents were at the senator’s Washington, D.C., residence.

Burr, who is a member of the “Gang of Eight” and the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, sparked scrutiny in mid-March after making 33 transactions in February, that rid him of a significant chunk of his stock portfolio and netted him anywhere between $628,000 and $1.72 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The transactions came after briefings on the potential impact of the novel coronavirus from the U.S. Department of Health.

Now the rest of the Republicans in the Senate can watch as somebody on the outside of the Trump cult gets left dangling, alone, while the Fox dogs nip at their feet.

If he was a member of The Cult, in good standing, he could expect one of those William Barr "shadow pardons" (patent pending). As it stands now, adios muchacho.
