  • Just Give Me Jesus

John 14:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I work so hard, tryna open every door
Search near and far, turning over every stone
I close my eyes, instead I find no rest
No rest for a restless heart
All I've been chasing, putting my faith in
Let it fade, let it break into pieces
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    There's nothing I desire (I desire)
That can't be found in You (found in You)
You're everything that I've ever needed
Just give me Jesus (oh-ohh, oh-oh-ohhh)
Take all my pride, my dreams, my plans
This house I've built, on troubled sand
If I gained the world, it would never be
    It could never be enough
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    There's nothing I desire (I desire)
That can't be found in You (found in You)
You're everything that I've ever needed
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
Oh, just give me Jesus (Jesus)
All of my searching, trying to be perfect
All the fears, all the lies I believed in
All I've been chasing, putting my faith in
Let it fade, let it fall into pieces
    Yeah-yeahh!
    And just give me Jesus
You are life, You are hope
    Just give me Jesus
You are love, You are all that I want
    There's nothing I desire (I desire)
That can't be found in You (found in You)
You're everything that I've ever needed
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    Just give me Jesus (Jesus)
    There's nothing I desire (I desire)
That can't be found in You (found in You)
You're everything that I've ever needed
    Just give me Jesus
    Just give me Jesus

What's with these wackos who post a bunch of garbage for a while, as if they're on a bender or a psychotic break, and then (mercifully) disappear for several months? Only to return and start slinging their feces again?

Why would you care? You scared of his message? We need more of this in the world. All you try to do is convince people you know what is right with your anti-religious message. You look like the deranged fool.

Has very little to do with the message, and a lot to do with the poster. If you look at its posting history it's a mess. And the return engagement doesn't appear to be an improvement.

Jesus offers eternity with perfect health and happiness. I’m letting you know it’s available to you.

i just got done w a visit to a nursing home. Many people towards the end. It changes perspective.

Maybe worth more thought than you are allocating now.

You seem to be very bitter and angry. It seems this is where you were previously.

Maybe there is an area in your life which needs introspection.

Jesus is available 24 x 7 and we all meet our maker.

Even the thief made it to salvation w Jesus. Still time for you.

                    Luke 23

39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was [a]hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the [b]Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving [c]what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come [d]in Your kingdom!”43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

Lol, thanks for your concern but I'm fine. I have no problem with your faith. What I do have a problem with is how you reconcile such strong faith with support of Trump.

Hypocrisy is my biggest issue with the religious...I do respect people trying to live it day in day out... I guess I’m just a little to grounded in reality for faith.

Why? What would that matter to you?

If you are atheist you believe in survival of the fittest. Trump exhibits strength.

If you are into a pantheistic religion then there is no such thing as evil. Again, why the anger against Trump?

If you are a humanist then your guide is ‘ do as thy wilt’ and again, why the angst against Trump?

i know why evangelicals support Trump and it’s clear his enemies do not. How very promising for 2020.

Trump started his presidency by paying off a porn star.

That’s a start. There is a difference between religion and Jesus. Did you know Jesus did not support the religious elite of his day?

Jesus and religion are two different things altogether. Earning your way to heaven, Nirvana or other rewards are what man-made religion offers. This brings lots of falsehood, using people and other ugly things. Jesus called these people ‘whitewashed tombs’ and other names.

In Jeremiah God says ‘you will seek and find me when you seek me with all your heart’

The church is not a building.
