Could there be a Republican in the Senate who would dare run an investigation showing in minute detail what Russia did to boost Donald Trump’s campaign for the White House in 2016—let alone as the president, secretary of state, attorney general and American’s former mayor are caught red-handed trying to gin up alternate facts?

There is. Senate Intelligence chair Richard Burr, Republican of North Carolina, has been laying out the evidence as it was impartially gathered, hand in glove with an unlikely sidekick, Democratic ranking member Sen. Mark Warren.

Last week, in the second of what will be five reports from interviews with over 200 witnesses, including Don “dirt on Hillary? I’d love it!” Jr., the committee documented Russia’s efforts to sow political discord and spread disinformation on social media, specifically outlining how the notorious Internet Research Agency troll farm under the direction of the Kremlin “sought to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election by harming Hillary Clinton's chances of success and supporting Donald Trump.” Likewise, the first chapter, released in July, confirmed the consensus of America’s intelligence agencies that Russia launched a coordinated attack on the integrity of our presidential and state elections.

Even Fox Admits Trump Is Violating Emoluments Clause By Holding G7 At His Golf Club

Can the Presidency Gain Its Integrity After Trump?

Even those of us old enough to remember have probably forgotten that in the spring of 1979 the Attorney General of the United States appointed a special prosecutor to look into his own president’s ownership of his peanut warehouse, to make sure that he wasn’t, in any way, making money from his presidency. The special counsel was republican Paul Curran, and the Attorney General was Griffin Bell. The president, of course, was Jimmy Carter. Now we have a president who is trying to force world leaders into his own failing Florida hotel during its lowest season to jack up its revenues, the Attorney General is spending $30,000 on a Christmas party at the president’s hotel in Washington DC, while the Air Force is pouring money into his failing Scotland property. And it all seems to be just fine with the same Republican Party that was hysterical that Jimmy Carter may have accidentally seen a balance sheet from the blind trust holding his peanut farm. How far we have fallen?

Even Napoleon Bonehead's own state TV is pulling back...

Napolitano, a legal analyst for the network, expanded on the point.

“The Constitution does not address ‘profits,’ it addresses any ‘present’ — as in ‘gift,” any ’emolument’ — as in cash, of ‘any kind whatever’ — I’m quoting here emolument’s clause — from any ‘king, prince, or foreign state,'” he explained. “The purpose of the emoluments clause is to keep the president of the United States of America from profiting off foreign money — here we go again! Not in the campaign, but in some event or entity that he controls or is running. He has bought himself an enormous headache with the choice of this. This is about as direct and profound a violation of the emoluments clause as one could create.”

Fox News judge: Hosting the G7 at Trump's golf resort is a "profound" violation of the Constitution

Accusations aren't proof. How is this corruption, specifically, or are you just again mindlessly copy-pasting squeals from left of center rags like Politico?
