Colorado gives undocumented students access to financial aid for college

A legislative liaison for the Colorado Department of Higher Education told senators there are 1,350 undocumented students statewide that will now become eligible for state tuition help.

Way to go Calorado...or is it Colifornia?

Tax dollars spent to educate students who, at the present time under the current laws, cannot legally work in the U.S.

Very few, if any will take advantage of it. I see it as more of a honeypot than anything that will actually help them.

How may US citizens will be turned down for financial aid and have to wonder if it was given to an illegal instead? It doesn't make any sense. Colorado taxpayers should be furious.

Why should they be furious? This is what they wanted, elected, and deserve. We now live in clown world where nothing makes any god damn sense.

Maybe US Citizens who get turned down should reapply and declare that they are an illegal alien. Any time these new clown world laws and rules and ideas come out, best thing is to try to figure out how to use them to your advantage.

Nope. Quite proud. Kids are kids and need to be educated. Some of those kids will become leaders. Some will fail.

How do you feel about math being taught in schools using Arabic numerals? Did you know that 56% of Americans (in a study sample of 3500) said they did not want schools to teach math using Arabic numerals? That's about the same dynamic reasoning used in criticizing the Colorado efforts.

          Think about it.

No, I don't think so. Most people don't realize that the numerals they have used their entire lives are Arabic. Rather than ask the question, people respond to the word Arabic and let their ignorance do the talking.

That's not even close to the same reasoning involved with being against paying for the educations of people that are not legally in the country to begin with.

Lay off the weed, man. The use of Arabic numerals doesn't have anything to do with providing financial aid to illegal immigrants...smh.

Lol...you're joking right? Yes, let's spend tax revenue to educate illegal immigrant children when there are plenty of US citizens that could use the help. Forget about the fact that these people cannot be legally employed in the U.S.. Common sense is lacking.

Listen, if you can't abide by the law and come to the United States legally, you don't deserve taxpayer funded grants for college. That's not biased, it's common sense.

Listen, if you are two years old and brought here by your parents, Colorado isn't going to punish you for being here. These kids have graduated from Colorado High Schools. Sorry you are so bigoted. Suck eggs.
