E-mail Print (0) Comments Text size Share DíIBERVILLE, Miss. ó A 35-year-old Mississippi man has been is accused of attempting to walk out of a DíIberville grocery store without paying for food items that he had stuffed into his pockets. Two of the items were alive. Itís a good thing the rubber bands didnít break.

Police Chief Wayne Payne said when officers arrived at the Winn Dixie, Nathan Mark Hardy had two bags of jumbo shrimp in his pants and two live lobsters in his front pockets.

"He was wearing cargo-type shorts," Payne said.

"In all my years in law enforcement, Iíve seen people shoplift steaks and all kinds of items, but never live lobster," Payne said. "Itís a good thing the rubber bands didnít break."
