Default Texas Fire Kills 4....Still funny?

http://news.yahoo.com/texas-fires-ki...230345872.html

Quote:
BASTROP, Texas (AP) — One of the most devastating wildfire outbreaks in Texas history left more than 1,000 homes in ruins Tuesday and stretched the state's firefighting ranks to the limit, confronting Gov. Rick Perry with a major disaster at home just as the GOP presidential contest heats up.
Still funny?

Too bad Perry cut the volunteer firemen's budget in Texas by 75% last year for no other reason than ideological purity. They could use all those firemen now.
http://www.examiner.com/political-bu...ands-fema-help

And now, Perry wants FEMA to patch up his stupid mistake. I guess the state central concept of right wing fundamentalism is proving to be somewhat moronic.

"Ideological purity"?

You guys are beyond sad.

Texas made many budget cuts last year. We aren't afraid to do the things that California is paralyzed to do.

Ask California about the firefighters, police, and emergency response team in Vallejo.

Maybe Perry can cut the Federal budget by 75% when he's elected, that would be a hell of a good start.

Bachmann likes a good joke when disaster strikes. But Epic will tell us 'we don't understand her culture.'
Of course, Epic can't explain her 'culture', but she does like a good joke when people are dying during a hurricane.

Where was the evangelical right wing outrage when she found death and destruction funny?

Michele Bachmann was just joking about hurricane being message from god: spokeswoman

Quote:
Michele Bachmann was only joking around when she said the recent earthquake and hurricane were a message from God to scare Congress into action, her spokeswoman said.

The backtracking Republican had her mouthpiece explain her humor to the Talking Points Memo website on Monday after the St. Petersburg Times reported her comments at a weekend campaign rally in Florida.

"I don't know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians. We've had an earthquake. We've had a hurricane," Bachmann ranted, according to the paper.
Quote:
The Tea Party favorite raised eyebrows with a weekend remark to supporters in Florida that Hurricane Irene, which killed at least 24 people and left millions without power, and an East Coast earthquake were God's way of telling politicians to cut spending and fix the budget deficit.
