Wildfires are good.

Fire suppression is bad.

Of they do not threaten human structures -- best to let them burn....

Yes, you turds have fun with your Texas jokes, I'm sure it's funny to the family of this 20-year-old woman and her 18-month-old child.

According to local reports, a wildfire southeast of Austin – in Bastrop County - stretches some 16 miles, has jumped a highway and river, and destroyed more than 300 homes, with some 5,000 residents evacuated. Elsewhere in Texas, a wildfire killed a 20-year-old woman and her 18-month-old child when their home was burned.

Stay classy, liberals.

And in the meantime, we'll remember that every time something like this happens that you neglect to take the moral and ethical high ground because your partisan politics are more important than your sense of community togetherness and sense of civility.

The House approved a measure Monday ensuring funds to help fight wildfires in Colorado.

Senate Bill 238, sponsored by Sen. Jeanne Nicholson, D-Black Hawk and Reps. Don Coram, R-Montrose, and Roger Wilson, D-Glenwood Springs, extends a funding stream for providing tools for firefighters—with intergovernmental cooperation and pooled resources.

The money comes from the federal government out of federal mineral lease funds, amounting to $3.25 million annually. The program provides for training and the acquisition of equipment that is cost-prohibitive to an individual community on its own.

Read the post dick-head, he said Colorado doesn't need help but they take care of it on their own ....
