Jeremy Beal and the Adam "better than Tebow" Weber have joined the Broncos P.S.

Maxdenver is reporting on Beal, from raveninsiders source (ravensinsider breaks a lot of Broncos news. What's up with that?)

Weber was earlier confirmed by his agent.

The other positions are not filled yet because the Broncos have claimed several people off of waivers, and the remaining positions are up for grabs.

First waiver pickup is DB Jonathan Wilhite.

From Vick, here is the PS squad (may change as we pick up more waivers):
Broncos PS additions: DE J.Beal, WR D.Goodwin, T A.Grant, RB J.Johnson, S K.McCarthy, WR E.Riley, FB A.Sylvester, QB A.Weber.

The reference to better than Tebow was, of course, the article that came out earlier about Weber being better then Tebow. I've been told - but can't confirm - that there is a PR agency that has made their job in life to trash Tebow, and that P.R agency has been shopping stories about Tebow to the media.

it's because Weber went 1 of 1 for 89 yards against the Cards for a 118.8 QB rating.

I'm excited about Eron, McCarthy and Beal. Bottom line to me is that this team still sucks depth wise.

For the most part, this is who I expected them to keep on the PS. I was uneasy about McCarthy because I thought McD was going to convince Spags to pick him up.

Start (or trade) Orton this year, Quinn at #2... and start Tebow with Weber as number 2 in 2012, FTW!

There is no question to me that safety play last year was a huge huge issue. From that point of view, I'm okay with McBath being gone because of performance. I'm glad Bruton is still around, if noting else for leadership and character, but it's time for the young guns to fix last seasons mistake.

I'm still sort of upset about McBath, because he was talented and really did show some flashes. Hopefully there will be a PS space for him... still wanna try him out as a containment corner, too.

It looks to me like the Broncos have made the calculation that there is nothing they can do immediately to fix the club depth problems, and are going to try and focus on cohesiveness to win games early in the schedule rather then add talent, and risk re-training new players.

Of course, they still haven't announced any waivers at all. So unless the Panthers got ever player we tried to claim, or the Broncos didn't claim anyone, more is to come.

Lighten up, lol. They signed a couple of guys to the practice squad who played well and deserved to be somewhere.

They're claiming guys off waivers, too and moving actives to the practice squad.
