Players who would be an upgrade over what we currently have.

OT/OG Pat McQuistan: Started 8 games for Miami last year and is only 28. Provides good versatility and I think he is better than what we currently have.

At this point, we need the best possible veteran depth from the waiver wire at CB, MLB, and DT.

With Squid being hurt, Cox being an inconsistent rapist, and Goodman being injury prone, hopefully, we can dig through the trash heaps and find someone.

Mccargo is a huge bust, he is not very good and he gets injured from playing Madden.

Unless Irving's injury is serious we have much bigger concerns than MLB depth.

I would put the position priority at:
1. DT
2. CB
3. HB
4. FB
5. MLB

All are areas that are a concern. I think they're OK at RB, but the talent drop off from 1A/1B is huge.

1.) CB Squid is done unfortunately, Cox may be cut, Goodman is getting older and injury prone, Champ tackles like a beast, but is also getting older and will inevitably get dinged helping in run support.
2.) DL
3.) MLB/ Overall LB depth (Irving isn't ready, Mays is a liability in space, D.J. has the type of injury that will ding him for 6 games, and Mohamed sucks.
4.) OL (particularly interior line) There has got to be someone better on the wavier wire trash heap than Stanley Daniels.

Briggs turns 31 this year. He has a big contract, wants a new one, and is past his prime. That's not the way to re-build a team.

i think some of you are missing it a bit...

OL depth is our biggest need...even at DT at least we have some players returning from injury shortly...

after OL and DT, a 3rd RB is needed...anyone happy with Lance Ball, i don't know what to tell you...

then MLB and corner...

Much better FB than Larsen or Sylvester.

I know... I know... Larsen has this team made unfortunately. I can dream that we get a real FB, right?

He didnt look all that bad to me to be honest. Seems like most times had a man 1 on 1, he got the better of the exchange and at a minimum always held his ground. Admittedly though, I get excited these days when I see any level of good FB play and didnt watch him on each play.
