Default Breaking News: Teddy Bruschi still a douchebag

would deliberately inflict an injury on Foster's hamstring just because... well... he's an ex-Patriot and that's how they roll.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shu...urn=nfl-wp6261

let me see if i get this correct? in the mind of NE, the rules have to be changed to protect Tom Terrific, but for opposing players all bets are off. if they know you have an injury, they are going to after that spot.

I see you only have 272 posts around here. Do yourself a favor and search down the epic Tedy Bruschi thread started around the time we kicked the Pats' arse in the playoffs at Mile High. The Bruschi will telepathically kick your ass while pleasuring 100 virgins and doing push ups with his wang.

He just stating the truth. Every defender in the league will be going after that leg until Foster shows that it doesn't hurt him.

That's total bull****. Most players don't try to hurt other players. If for no other reason than they don't want players to intentionally try to hurt them. It's called professional courtesy. There are some a-holes in league that will do **** like that mind you, but they are in the minority.

He's right and all players do this. You don't think if opponent knows your ribs are bruised he isn't going to pop you in your ribs? Not in a dirty way, but in a "I'm going to do what I normally do but do it around the area you are in pain. Hi I'm a defender."

Sorry guys but the Patriots aren't the only ones doing that. Everyone is.

the intent isn't to "injure" the player. the intent is to target the area and make him ineffective which almost every NFL player does. hence why a lot of times don't like releasing specific injury news because they know what's what.

you really think if our D knows that Peyton Manning has a knee injury that we won't hit him around that around to make him uncomfortable and off rhythm? come on now, let's be real.
you don't wanna hit him directly in it because it's a no-no to hit the knee but you're definitely gonna let him know that you're gonna make him use that knee a lot.

this isn't an MMA match. this is the NFL. if the league found out anyone - ANYONE - was targeting one of their "star" players to cause injury, they'd start passing out suspensions like candy. Manning. Brady. Brees. etc.

do you recall that guy on the Packers who bodyslammed Jim McMahon trying to injure his shoulder? suspended.

on top of that, the NFLPA would go ballistic if they knew their members were doing this to one another.

think about all of these ticky-tack rules designed to protect receivers and QBs, and yet you think the league and NFLPA would simply look the other way on this subject? doesn't make sense to me.

i'm sure douchebag players take it upon themselves to try and injure their opponents, but that's because they're douchebags (i'm pointing the finger at Teddy Bruschi), but they keep their mouths shut because they know it's not acceptable in the locker room.

Bruschi just effectively outed himself (again) as one such douchebag.

No, no. These are all bloodthirsty maniacs out to hurt each other. They aren't worried about suspensions or retaliation from other players.

Romo was a psycho. He hardly constitutes the typical NFL player. He honestly would probably be banned from the league under Goodell's NFL.

Any other non-news that you'd like to post? This isn't some isolated incident from Bruschi, it's very common around the league

I wonder if you played any sport. This is not only limited to football, but any sport you play. If you think the opponents will not use the injury to there advantage then you are a minority or you have never played any sports. You must be a wii or board game player.
