I'll be coming to the game w/ my SO and Bum Jr./his SO. Is there a scheduled tailgate going on involving other Omane members. There is a dirth of tailgate activities on this Tailgate thread. Makes me wonder if the great tailgate is now dead? Who all is going to this game?

We'll have to hook up either the night before or for some impromtue tailgate before although since we are flying in we won't have grill, coolers, supplies etc even though food would be purchased there. Is anyone tailgating since TGN hung it up?

Miles is...I was thinking we could do shredded 'bear' beef tacos. We have a pretty good recipe and all it is is a roast in a crockpot. We are driving down, I'm thinking we are gonna bring some tables down too.

Yes, I contacted him via Facebook. Trisha's baby shower tailgate it is. Hope to see you there. We'll be staying at the Holiday Inn on Bannock by the old Mousetrap. Planning on going downtown to Larimer St. on Sat nite.

If we keep winning that could still happen, I hadn't even thought about that.

Hey guys.

So I'm making my first visit to Mile High for the Bears game. Gonna be y first tailgate experience too and I had a couple of questions.

Is it OK to just show up at the Tailgate area or do you need tickets or what? Also will it be fine to just join random groups of people and have a few drinks and food with them? Do people bring their own food to Tailgates or can you buy food?

Was just getting excited about this today and realized I really have no idea what to expect!

Proper tailgate etiquette:
IMHO when there is a tailgate it is OK to drop in especially if you are a fan of the same team provided:
You aren't an arse or a freeloader.
Bring something to share including alcohol and maybe something for the grill or a side dish. If you don't have anything to share it is proper to give the host a big "Thank you" and slip them some cash. Heck give them cash even if you bring something!

Thanks a lot, guess I'll grab some meat and beers and hope someone takes pity on me and lets me join them.

My friend who I'm going with is a Bears fan, we can unite as Bronco fans and bully him!

, my Girlfriend is from Chicago and is threatening to wear an Urlacher Jersey!
M#7, we might need you to bring all the hardware since you are driving in to the game as I talked to Miles last night and their tailgate may not happen because of the baby. Anything I can do or get and bring let me know. We'll have 5 or 6 in our party, how many you got Schism?

I'm planning on bringing the Crockpot so we can do some thing with that easy, we also bought a tabletop tailgate grill. Its not big, but we can do burgers, dogs and brats quick and easy on that. I have a table or two that I am planning on bringing. We'll keep talking with Miles and see.

As for the Barn, that is the team tailgate...i think its like 25 to get in and you pay for your liquor.

Hey Schism,

It'll be my first Broncos game experience as well. I'm going to have two Bears fans and a Jets fan with me (who will be pretending to be a Bears fan) and we will provide some snacks, food and beverages for anyone who wants to meet up with us!

Missing#7, do you have any idea which parking lot you will be having the tailgate set up in or are you waiting to hear from Myles.

I think so. I live up in the High Rockies and will be traveling down for the game. I think we will be staying with a friend in Denver, but I'm down.

You live in the Colorado and never made the trek to the game?

C lot, hopefully in or near TGN's usual spot I like that area and having the hill right there gives lots more tailgate area.

I haven't talked to Miles yet, but I'm thinking that we can do some shredded beef tacos in a crockpot...they are awesome. And I've got a small tailgate grill to do burgers/brats too if needed/wanted. Just need to figure out what the plan is. I can talk to miles more this week. I'm going to be flying to AR on sunday and be down there till friday and then reffing and driving south friday and sat to be there in time for some other stuff. We are trying to get a table to fit in our Santa Fe, I'm also looking for a cheap pop up to provide some shade as well. I'm already starting a list of things that I'm going to need to tailgate on my own in the near future.
