We have the 1st and 5th overall players for DROTY. Pretty cool to see Moore so high up.

Player Odds
Von Miller 11/2
Patrick Peterson 6/1
Marcell Dareus 15/2
Nick Fairley 15/2
Rahim Moore 10/1

I think Von is going to have a lot of sacks. There's no reason to think he won't. He's a major weapon in pressuring the QB and Allen is all about pressuring the QB and generating turnovers. I have no doubt that Allen will use Miller to try to maximize his impact. And you add to that the fact that it's hard to double team Miller when Doom is on the other side, it's really pointing to Miller getting a lot of sacks.

Von will have the kind of rookie season Brian Orakpo had.

At this point I really can't see how Miller wouldn't be a bigger favorite than that. Patrick Peterson isn't even starting right now, and Dareus and Fairley play positions that don't lend themselves to big rookie years (unless you are named Suh).

I wouldnt limit him. It might be bigger than Orakpo's rookie season.

i know people are gonna say i'm crazy for saying this. but i would not be shocked in the least bit to see Von put up 15 sacks this season with the way he's being used and his burst.

I wouldn't be shocked either for a couple of reasons:

Doom is a pure pass rusher too, which limits the ways that Miller can be chipped, double-teamed etc. It's sort of a pick your poison situation.

A lot of young pass rushers, rely exclusively on their first step to catch the edge. Miller has demonstrated multiple skills to get to the pass rusher.

Really excited to see what he can do during the regular season.
