"Tim Tebow, who threw only two passes in limited duty against the Bills last Saturday, is likely to enter the game after Orton. Tebow and Brady Quinn split practice snaps with the starters after Orton left Thursday's workout early and split second-team duties for much of the past two weeks.

The Broncos appear to have closed out the week leaning a little more toward Tebow in that role."

I've heard from the Fan that Fox is not yet saying who's going in.
The speculation that has Tebow going in after Kyle is based on what happened in practice where Tebow took a good number of reps this week.

Then again, Fox has shown to be a little odd in the decision making department...

It does seem as though any negative Tebow news is huge news, but positive Tebow news is, "meh".

i dont feel like starting a thread for this, but in similar bronco news taht means nothing, denver did put in a claim for kentwan balmer, but obviously CAR got him first.

That is BS. As soon as bad news comes out people say either play him or cut him or the franchise doesn't know what they are doing blah blah blah. Then all this crap comes out about Orton and how he sucks in the RZ.

The groups are divided between letting him develop vs throwing him into the fire because Orton sucks.

I've seen maybe two posters that saying that Tebow just sucks.

Many people hate UF.

But I do agree that a large fraction of the Tebow haters are anti-religious zealots. However there are many people who are not religious who like Tebow and pull for him as well.

But I think that most people who like sincere, loyal, tough-minded people root for Tebow, even if they believe that he needs time to learn.

Im just wondering about a doublestandard. If there was a jewish QB who was this criticized, there would be more than a few people who are quick to point out that religion is behind the criticism. But since the roles are reversed, this is not only being ignored but it's practically taboo.

It's just that a big time bust is more dramatic than boring old reality (he's learning, progressing, but we ultimately don't know yet and probably won't for a while). People love drama. If he started tearing up the league I'm sure that would get shoved down people's throats 24/7 as well.

Jamarcus Russell, a #1 overall pick, didn't receive anywhere near the criticism that Tebow has received.

I can't think of another young player who has.

Tebow has been criticized more than Vince Young, who was selected #3 overall.
