It wont do any good. The damn Texans aren't doing a damn thing and So-cal is probably 25% illegal. The whole damn thing is just anothe money driven joke. We spend countless millions building fences and monitoring systems which are a waste of time until we hit the employers in the wallet.

This.

If you want to solve the problem, then you have to go after those who benefit most from illegal immigration: cheap labor conservatives.

For these sociopathic a$$holes, greed has no "off" switch, so they won't stop until the world's resources are concentrated in the smallest conceivable number of hands and the rest of us are just serfs.

Deportation efforts have stepped up immensely under Obama. However, I agree with the above ^.

Just a few short years ago, Blackwater was positioning itself to move into the border security business. Wonder what ever happened?

So, once again, you can't actually comment on the article, only cut and paste. This makes you what, a parrot?

Good grief you are a moron 24/7/365. Just because you like those "messicans" doesn't negate the fact that they are breaking the laws. Laws like identity theft, tax fraud, and theft of services.

That's the difference between the Berlin Wall and the Great Wall of China which was designed to keep Mongrel hoards form invading, pillaging and looting the country. The US should take a similar approach, but with modern interpretation and without the immense cost (the 'virtual wall' is just a pork pit - ineffective and incredibly expensive).

I also worry about terrorists able to walk into this country and we don't even know how many have already done so. Not having jobs to go to would not bother a terrorist much and make him turn back.

Spider - "...just go after the companies that hire these people .. dont need to build no ****ing wall...etc"

A major crackdown on illegal employment in the service and construction sectors would have a major impact on illegal immigration, as well as lower the US unemployment rate (10mil job openings immediately), but how does that stop the absolute worst type of illegal alien - Those employed by Mexican cartels? ie: Drug, human and terrorist trafficking. How does that stop importation of banned/counterfeit/lethal merchandise and money laundering?

I'm with you and LABF'er (can't believe I just typed that) with the necessity to go after illegal alien employers, but a sealed border with walls and layers in hot zones is just as much a requirement. I'll expand on how that should be implemented, including by who, if asked.

I am not saying open borders , but we dont need no wall , besides just as much drugs come here in boats , TGN wall wouldnt work to well out there , even if it is built to keep people out , but then the market here for drugs is staggering , we legalize hippy lettuce that will go along ways in helping

Land mines have been very effective, historically, and would eliminate repeat offenders that are now caught and sent back to try again. I Don't think these guys would try and cross the border after their failed attempt......

Since the current, previous, or likely future administrations maintain a policy of violating human, civil, international and unalienable rights - I don't think there will be any legal challenge or objection to mining the southern border.

There might be better options than deporting illegal aliens...

We could always pack them into cargo containers and ship them to Afghanistan (it's how they got here anyways). In similar fashion to the way Israel held captured Palestinian children at gunpoint and forced them to run into buildings believed to be boobytrapped during the most recent invasion of Gaza, the US could march illegal aliens in front of them to set of IEDs or mines. Since the actions don't take place on US soil, no laws would be broken (a precedent alluded to in my previous post).

Get off the high horse and you know damn well the liberals protect the illegals like crazy. Why don't you tell everyone about Governor Brown wanting to put the Dream Act for illegal aliens and have the citizens pay for their schooling in college?

This problem is because of big business and for some reason the hispanics want their jobs to be taken over by illegal aliens. I don't care what color they are; Canadians coming here illegal and taking American jobs? They should be sent back.
I won't give money for the private border because if they do a good job, the illegals will enter into California. I support them but the effect can be worse.

All that ranting and deflecting, and you did absolutely nothing to dispute my point, i.e., that cheap labor conservatives benefit most from illegal immigration.

BTW, point me to the liberals on this forum who want to "protect" illegals or who support the Brown legislation you mentioned.

I guess you missed this part of my post while you got all heated and ready to type away (better than a cartoon so props for that).

See bolded.
I say all big business (and even Mom and Pop construction/labor companies) and it doesn't mean they are conservative. Big Business will give money to whoever gives them what they want.

Nice to know those cartoons have made such an impression on you that you're still thinking about them even when they're not present.

Yeah, what was I thinking? The CEOs who run those companies are all a bunch of bleeding heart liberals - not a conservative among them.

It's a "reflection" that republicans can't take a joke and take themselves too seriously.

Funny how their outlook on political satire was just the opposite when Clinton was in the cross hairs.
