Default So is Denver's D that good or does Buffalo just suck?

Buffalo sucks. But Denver's defense is impressive. I have to admit, Bunkley is playing well. How much improved is Enver's D?

Von Miller is a freak.

The Broncos will have to learn how to cover up his back side on screen plays.

Rahim Moore is having a better game than last week.

I think its obvious how important Dumervil is but Bunkley and DJ and Von Miller and Champ and Vaughn and even Moore have all had good games.

Buffalo does suck but the defense LOOKS cohesive. Still prone to giving up the big run though, gotta tighten that up.

That for sure. Have multiple notes of all positives for those guys this game.

The focus on smaller but faster players will necessarily mean we'll give up some big runs, but I'm glad to see some good pass rush and big defensive plays in general.

Thats been our MO.

In year 1 of McD, Denver stopped the run something like 85% of the time. the other 15% of the time it was a HUGE play.

DJ also looked very good in the passing defense. Hopefully this is a redemption year for ol' deej.

This is why I've been screaming for focus on the D for 10 years and not just a here and there thing. It's only preseason but damn this gives me hope. Fill in the missing pieces next year and we could be on our way.

Miller looks like he is shot out of a cannon on passing downs. Moore looks more comfortable and Bunkley has had a nice game

That was the "Sex Panther" run defense of 2008

I think Vaughn has played better than Cox anyway.

Yeah? Well let's just hope Vaughn can get a lot better and Thompson can step up because Cox is likely going to prison.

If we can get two new hyper talented corners next draft and a blue chip MLB, we could be an elite defense for quite some time.

Id rather get a hyper talented DT, a blue chip MLB and one really good corner. I know you aren't the biggest fan of what we have but I think Vaughn can grow into a really good starting corner. I think Thompson can be an above average nickle back. So, there you go.
