It feels like there is a noticeable lack of interest in football this season. Lock out?

The season has started, no one needs camp anymore.

Why smoke crack when you can blow lines?

I disagree. Players are going to be put into their spots ie. starters as we are getting closer to the season. Add players being cut and/or injured and I think the camp reports are still important.

I see The Dave came back made a few good football posts then read the quality of responses and left on the next train out.

The 'lack of interest' is likely due to low expectations.

Is your interest in the NFL equal to what it was last season?

I will be the first to admit that I am not jumping on everything I see this preseason. In a typical year I will watch every single play twice, obsess over every camp tweet and so on. This year I'm just kind of going with the flow. I wonder if this is the result of the lockout or just apathy in lieu of last season but it may be what some of the usual camp reporters are feeling as well.

Last season, I gave you my heart
But the very next day, you traded it away

Listen to the podcast and read the reports we've had.

Moore
Julius Thomas
Mccarthy
Franklin (inconsistent with pass pro)

to name a few.

I thought I would hold a grudge, but I've taken them back quite quickly. It helped that the NHL hurt my feelings. I'm more pessimistic than I've ever been about the Broncos in general though.

Welcome to the majority of my CO relatives. They were so downed by the SB losses that they stopped watching by the time we won. Just be careful you don't get to that point.

I'm optimistic about this year... 7-9 is optimistic.
