Default Ty Warren most likely done.

Dude is getting an MRI for a torn triceps. Funny how our biggest offseason need was DT and all of our DT's that were any good are already hurt. I'm talking about Warren, Thomas, and Bunkley.

Broncos DT Ty Warren underwent an MRI late Monday on a triceps injury the team fears is "significant."
Beat writer Lindsay Jones ominously posted on Twitter that the muscle is "torn," although we suspect she didn't mean to report it just yet. She certainly has inside information, though. Warren suffered the injury in Monday's practice. A torn tricep would require surgery and almost certainly end his season.

Eh... injury prone.

I'm more excited about Vickerson and Bunkley.

Bummer. Broncos never seem to be able to stay healthy.

Ok now the Denver post changed it from torn triceps to triceps injury. We just need to pray to allah and hope for the best.

Where is Jamal Williams when you need him.

I wouldn't say "most likely done" at this point. Wait to see if it's torn. I believe Dumervil had a similar injury last year... was it tris or pecs?

You think Jamal would come back for a reduced price? Would be an interesting NT in the 4-3, and would open up options with Miller on the line, and maybe moving in Ayers at UT.

well if its torn he will be out. i really hope its not a tear, obviously.

Last year dumervil tore his pectoral muscle. Tears to anything are never good.

Well, that's what happens in the NFL.

That's why the BBT have screwed the pooch in addressing the DT position.

Now you have a bunch of journeymen manning the position when you could have had your pick among several players including a young run stuffer.

You never sign one guy and call it a year.

Torn Pec which immediately rendered him done for the first 12 games and that is why they IR'ed him.

I think a torn Tri is pretty bad as it is a push muscle rather than a pull muscle like the bicep.

Doom?

Yeah, I wouldn't write Warren off just yet. If it's a torn muscle, I might. We don't know what it is yet.

It's possible. I expect the broncos to go after another DT if Warren is out. Williams is an option. Maybe Haynesworth if the Pats cut him.

If he tore a muscle, he's done.

Normally I'd ask you to pass whatever joint you're smoking, but I just don't know the situation... is Haynesworth a possible cut for the Pats?

Sorry he asked what Doom tore which was a pectoral muscle.

You hear of players play with a torn bicep, Alfred Williams was one, but a torn tricpeps. Not so much.

Unless I have them flipped of course.

I hear Monsanto Pope is available-- he should fit right in with what we're trying to accomplish up front.

We'd be better off just putting a sled out there.

as likely a cut as randy moss was prior to the 2007 season, when everyone was saying he would be cut. its a warning from the team that they have no issue cutting these guys, because you know they have heard the rumor by now.
