Jarvis Moss. Bones are hollow from staph infection that went undiagnosed for two years in college.

No way TD qualifies. He had 4 amazing years, which is longer than the average player playes in the league.

...99 to 2003 Davis does. He rarely saw the field. I am not discounting 95-98. I am merely stating a fact. He would play a game on sunday and then be out the next week because of fluid buildup in his knees. A stupid, Brian Griesefied end to a great career.

The real history answer would have to be Gerald Willhite. Anyone that remembers 47 can picture him limping off the field every other time he carried or caught the ball. He grimaced after every play.

The only reason for me feeling guilty about this answer is that Gerald also did suffer the most gruesome injury in the history of the team too. Minor detail though.

Gerald "It's not my fault I was a first round draft choice" Willhite is my pick too. And maybe Ian Gold after he came back.

i've said it before and i'll say it again...

Terrell Davis > Gale Sayers

if Sayers made it to the HOF after an injury-shortened career, then TD belongs there as well!

sadly, the large media market Sayers played in helped him, while the nearly invisible Denver media market is hurting TD's chances.

there's probably only 1 RB i've ever seen who i'd take before TD if i were choosing sides for a team, and that was Earl Campbell.

i've never been much impressed with whimpy running backs like Franco Harris (3 yards and out of bounds), or over-hyped ESPN favorite RBs like Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders... just give me a guy who can make one cut and run over or through anyone in his path.

I agree with said above; however, the dude was an absolute china cabinet! I love TD but at the sametime he was the only Mr. Glass that meant anything significant to the team.

Lumping Terrell into this is stupid ... Mr Glass refers to someone who was always dinged up from the time they come into the league. Not someone who has no real injury issues and then suffers a career changing injury and can not regain what they had.

From the time TD made that hit on special teams to the Brian pick he made the tackle on and hurt the knee he had no real injury issues unless you want to count migraines.

But I know how well received logic is at the orange mane so I'll move along.

basically this. TD played for multiple years in a row without issue, and he will always be remembered for that. his subsequent missed games was a direct result of his knee, he wasnt a guy you saw injured and said "ah what is it this time".

You do realize there's only 64 games in 4 years/seasons of football right ?
