The Rev may not agree but the rumor was he was the 'phins 2nd choice. I still think Orton for a 3rd is better than having Bulger or Henne running the O.

Adds 'half'way decent backup for Vick - little bit of insurance. I'm not a Young fan but I think he'd do ok if he needed to play very minimal.

makes sense for them. get another guy with some potential to be around for a while, and yet that has starting experience for when Vick inevitably goes down. doesn't hurt that they can keep all the Vick-specific stuff in the any game plan for VY.

I seem to agree with a lot of what the Eagles do. With that staff it's a low risk gamble.

I wonder if they don't go with a jumbo triple wing set where there are 3 legit options in their backfield to pitch/throw. 2 of them could throw then run this could be the next progression of the wildcat. They always seemed to run it better than Phins did and it looks like the Phins want to go back to a traditional offensive alignments.
I need to go to bed, way past my bed time. |

Well, would the Dolphins stand put?
I'm sure VY was in their plans. The possible Orton trade remains alive... |

What are the chances Carson Palmer will become available via trade (for the Seahawks)?
