Texans reportedly shopping DT Amobi Okoye as Phillips is flipping to his 3-4 defense. No word on asking price.

Bring him in, bring them all in. See that fat guy walking down the street stuffing his face with hot dogs and twinkies? Bring him in.

He'd be an ideal fit for what the FO is apparently trying to accomplish at the position.

Would they take a 4th for him? Maybe even the same 4 they'd get for Orton from Miami.

I'd say give them a 3rd and a 4th. Teams will rape us because they know we need a damn DT

Not playing well is an improvement for our D-Line.

He's only 24 this season and is a 4 year vet. He also played on the line with Doom for three years.

To put that in perspective, we drafted Robert Ayers the season he turned 24 (yes he was that old).

He wasn't, but he's still very young and talented.

I'd be excited about the potential he has if they could get him on the cheap.

Okoye turned down Harvard for Louisville. Mistake, IMO.

But that Louisville team back then was pretty damn good.

It looked like Louisville was going to be a contending program for a while. They just couldn't keep a coach worth a damn. If you have aspirations to go pro, you take a contending team over a better education.

He'll probably get cut if they sign a big-time corner.

I think if you're good enough and you're playing D1, then you're going to go to the NFL. A Harvard degree is no laughing matter... a Louisville degree? eh...
