Yeah. Bush can still stay a Saint though if he agrees to a lower paycheck.

why would bush agree to a new contract, if he knows he will be cut if he doesnt, then free to pick his own team?

Could this be the last piece to the Orton trade?

My guess is that Miami has already agreed to an Orton deal, but they are asking him to restructure his contract before a trade.

Just my guess...

What would be the thoughts if we added Ronnie Brown through this trade?

If bush is really "the man" in Mia, Kyle is gonna get killed. Bush has a bad knee and at best is good for maybe fifteen quality carries a game.

To be fair, that's about 10 more quality carries than he was getting out of the running backs for Denver last year.

If nothing else the Dolphins will look much, much different with Kyle and Reggie on O....which is a good thing because they were hard to watch on offense last year. Bored me to tears. It looks like they will have a complete O makeover in just one off-season.

The AFC East will be interesting to watch this year. Haynesworth in NE, the Jets going for broke, the new look Dolphins and a Bills team that has improved on paper.

But the saints will have ivory, pierre thomas and ingram. Plus Lance Ball had better PR stats than did bush. Bush has had the dreaded microfracture surgery on that knee, I think. And there's stilly Lynell Hamilton and PJ Hill who were on Ir last year. I haven't seen what the saints may be getting.

But if it's just bush for Mia, Orton's gonna pass a lot. Might be good for a fantasy team.
