Players should be able to sign on Saturday.
So who will the Broncos end up with? |

This thread got awesome, fast. The Zelda series definitely my all-time favorite. When they release the next one, I may buy a used Wii just for it.

Denver might look at Ian Williams (Notre Dame).I would also love to see them sign Mark Herlich from Boston College.
The Broncos identified defensive tackle as their greatest offseason need. They just haven't addressed it so I would love to see Mebane here or Cofield. CB is a concern if we lose cox.If we can get him for a reasonable price, I'm always interested maybe Sharper . When the lockouts over I'll return to this thread with my bronco wishlist |

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess isn't bad , it was one of the release titles for the wii... When the new one comes out you should try both. |

I played Twilight Princess; I actually stood in line and bought a Wii on the release date. But I ended up getting rid of it. I should have just kept it.

how about signing some ufa's first, commentator on nfln or espn said these should be the first priority and then signing the current team players, then signing the draft picks. make lots of sense to me.

Mebane or Cofield would be great, though not sure what cap number the Broncos will have, so that might not be realistic since they will likely command big money. But they definately need an impact DT that is for sure and probably another CB. A RB seems pretty certain a position they will address too. More depth at LB and DE would be nice as well.

The first order of business will be dealing Orton immediately for picks to give us some real breathing room under the cap. From there, Dawkins will have to also take a serious haircut to give us even more room. Then, they'll have to throw the kitchen sink at Mebane because they absolutely have to have him as we have literally nothing there due to our own negligence. They'll probably want to go after DeAngelo Williams after that, although I'm not sure there is room for two big contracts, and I dont really like the guy, anyway.

Dawkins needs to restructure at least, or else I'd outright cut him. His play on the field isn't great and even though I do think leadership and experience are tangible assets to a football team, I don't think he's worth it.

this team needs leaders, but young leaders. Bailey and Dawkins have to be in the locker room to show the young guys how to lead. Dawkins doesn't have much left in the tank physically, but I'd have him more as a sideline, locker room guy. I'd ask him to accept the role of a team captain and help coach up the young guys. I'd let Bailey be the silent leader, just executing.

The reason I think it would be better to trade Kyle Orton and 2nd Rd pick for Dan Williams and Beanie Wells it fills high priority gaps. DRC is agreat risk reward CB that only cost 2M per season next 2yrs after that cost would be sky high. Wells and Williams would be half that to re-sign. Ppl give me flak for wanting Williams but hes gonna be a stud

This team is so short on talent right now it really is pathetic. What is our greatest unit right now? WRs maybe? QB, lots of questions though I have lots of hope. OL, not sold on Beadles, Walton, or Franklin. TE, not yet...potential though. CB, other than Champ we have very little. LBs, DJ and Von make this a pretty good unit. DL, I think USC pays more to their DLinemen than we do!!! USC is breakin Bread man! ![]() |

Right now money is tight cap wise so I dont see us getting either Mebane or Cofield. So we will be getting multiple UDFA DT to field the void maybe a few lower end FA. So after we trade Kyle Orton for peanuts do to fact AZ is only real team left looking for QB and they want Kolb?!?! for some reason. Maybe Miami would upgrade over Hene, Seahawks would take Hasselback over KO because knowledge of playbook. All other teams that drafted QB's may give up 5th rd possible 4th for KO.
So we need to call up AZto try n deal. KO 2nd Rd pick fo Dan Williams (doubt they give up Darnell Dockett)and Beanie Wells (dont think they'd part w/ Hightower) |
