If the Cards aren't willing to do Rodgers-Cromartie AND a draft pick for Kolb, would you want to the Broncos to do Orton for DRC straight up, or even throw in something extra?

I'd make him squeal like a pig for just about any quality starter and a pick.

I'd do it in a heart beat! 2nd corner addressed with potential to give us a top 5 CB tandem. No trainer, imo.

Of course I would. I would trade Orton for a potato chip. He is terrible and expensive. Bad combination.

I think the best we could get for orton is a 3rd rounder. DRC >3rd, so yes, i'd definately do that deal.

Face the facts, there not a team or fan base anywhere that's is going to get all jacked up about trading for Orton.

I'd maybe give up a third for Orton. Probably not that much.

Yeah, the QB market seems a bit flooded this year. McNabb, Hasslebeck, Kolb, Young, Alex and Troy Smith, Leinart(Drew good reviews from Kubiak). I don't have my hopes up that we'll trade him for much(if at all).

Try to be serious for a second, how good a player do you think DRC is? You seem to think he's among the best in the game. I think he a great athlete, but terribly inconsistent and a god-awful tackler.
The Eagles reportedly wanted a first for Kolb. If you're the Cards, wouldn't you give it to them instead of offering a superstar (which you apparently think DRC is)? |

I would love to have DRC, he's very fast, young and can learn from the best. (Champ). I would make that trade.

Is Kolb valued more because of "upside"?
Because, he has a losing record and really hasn't been super impressive in stats... I never got that |

And the Eagles reportedly wanted a 1st and more for Kolb. Do I buy the validity of AM radio 910's reporting? Yeah, not really. But it's feasible that they may use him to knock that asking price way down... for Kolb. No chance he's involved in an Orton trade. I would LOVE to see it, because we need at least one young, talented CB hitting the roster, but I'd also love to have Scarlett Johannson randomly show up at my door asking for a mustache ride. |

On that list, only Kolb and (maybe?) McNabb are worth more than a bag of peanuts IMO.
