See what I mean?

A dude with a permed mullet and cutoff jean shorts threatening to sue people...that's fun. Its like a saturday night live character.

MacGruber is a SNL character too, I guess.

Oh good, you know a troll when a thread is starting to die off he brings up another name to bring on some more pages. Luck = West Coast/Pac 12 and that just can't come close to SEC.

I'm kinda surprised that the appearance of Punisher didn't cause this thread to collapse in on itself.

I didn't bring Luck up.. The SEC is the only standout conference.. so it shouldn't be a surprise Luck would be overrated as well. The fact he even had to run as much as he did in that conference should be a huge red flag... which is ironic because Tebow was criticized far more for running against D that justified it.

You are all getting trolled. I mean he has to be a troll, no one is really stupid enough to believe the SEC is tougher then the NFL, right?

So every player not tied to the SEC is overrated? WTF do you smoke everyday before you think?

So then explain to me how Tebow could look like a better runner against NFL defenses than SEC defenses? I think it is because NFl teams are more well balanced. Tebow had a better running game in the NFL than he ever did in college. Florida couldn't get true SEC runners because of their offensvie system. Tebow had to fill that role himself.. which allowed teams to focus on him and take him out of the game.

The only exceptions would be players on teams that aren't elite within that conference.. and even then they can get lucky and get a lot of talent at times.

The key is that in the SEC there is parity.. a lot like the NFL. In other conferences this isn't the case. Other conferences 2 or 3 elite teams get all the talent. Players on these teams look massively overrated compared to SEC stars. This is why scrubs like Bradford and McCoy looked like Gods.. plus they were trained to fit the role of system QBs.. short passes.. like Orton.. dink and dunkers -role players. But you see what happens when they face great D even on teams just as loaded as SEC teams.. if not more loaded.. plus they can use gimmicky systems in those other conferences that wouldn't fly in the SEC. I honestly don't know if Bradford and McCoy could have made it as starting QBs in the SEC. LOOK what happened to the guy who replaced Tebow - Brantley.. this guy was hyped as a better NFL prospect than Tebow and he got HOSED. I mean he looked like COMPLETE horse ****. Put Brantley in the BIG12 or PAC10 etc and he probably looks like a GOD last year.

SEC standouts like John Elway, Barry Sanders, Lawrence Taylor, Gary Zimmerman, Steve Young, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Shannon Sharpe, Tom Brady, Walter Payton, Ronnie Lott, Ray Lewis, Deion Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Marshall Faulk, LaDanian Tomlinson, etc.

You can't win a championship without SEC stars like the players listed above.

You guys aren't very bright.. for one thing you are talking about different eras.. I am talking about this era... for another you can have great players in other conferences.. but if they are on an elite team their numbers and play should be extraordinary.. and they should certainly be competing for and winning championships if they are going through a weak conference.

Bradford didn't just go high.. he went NUMBER ONE AND over Tebow.. and what did Bradford accomplish? What happened to him against an SEC defense?

A scrawny, weak armed dink and dunker who couldn't stay healthy in college while protected like a china doll went number one over Tebow..

The people who said Bradford was a number one pick were the same ones saying Tebow was juts carried by his great team and John Brantley was a better NFL prospect than Tebow..

So, who is the prototype that the Panthers were chasing when they drafted Cam Newton #1?
