Yeah, and a lot didn't match up. I did love those Must be Football Season commercials though.

I was at that game....I remember us rolling up 35 points before the half.
I also remember blowing a lot of Cowboys fans **** in the South Stands. We kicked in a lot of ***** that year....it was sweet. Last edited by SouthStndJunkie; 06-27-2011 at 05:11 PM.. |

That was the one where TD had 150 yards rushing by the half.
That was the game where I knew that we had a team for the ages. I have been looking for another game to watch maybe I will put it on tonight. |

I remember reading about Deion Sanders coming up to someone after the game (maybe Shannon Sharpe) and telling them how awesome our offense was.
Deion Sanders wasn't one to pass out a lot of praise....unless he was talking about himself. |

What's the big deal? They haven't beaten us in the regular season since 1995.

So much nostalgia. Old Fox commercials, Scott and Dave on 850, Mile High.

These are the threads that make it worthwhile to waste valuable company time...thanks for posting.
I know with the strike, and off season, topics take a different turn. This was a particularly sweet win for me, as it was pay back for the Cowboys dominance. This was also sweet on a different level (not as sweet as the Turkey Day win). Personally, I have bad memories of Tommy Maddox playing in a tough loss years earlier, we kept it close, even surprising the Cowboys with a flea flicker, to no avail. |

Yeah, that was awesome. I was there with my best friend, a life long Cowboys fan. He had really rubbed in my face the first half of the decade with cowgirls winning 3 rings and he wasn't giving us alot of credit still....until this game. There wasn't anything that anyone could say...we were absolutely dominating. Could have gone undefeated that year, with just a few more breaks going our way. After all those years of getting so close and not being able to get it over the hump.....1996-1998 were great Broncos years!

Didn't Elway tweak his hammy that game?
I think if he hadn't been hurt for a few games that year, he probably would've come back for the threepeat try. Great game though with TD running roughshod on back to back carries and the defense knocking Aikman out. |
