While the teleprompter's away, the gaffe's will bray.
I'll get us started: 1) Obama calls Navy corpseman "Corpse Man" http://hotair.com/archives/2010/02/0...vy-corpse-man/ |

Wasn't that done while reading from a teleprompter?
Regardless, I have to say, you create a LOT of threads. |

3) Obama burns well over 9,000 gallons of jet fuel on earth day:
"It happens every time a president leaves town to make an Earth Day speech. Reporters scramble to point out how much fuel was expended so the President could talk about conserving energy and using alternative fuels. In flying to and from Iowa today, President Obama took two flights on Air Force One and four on Marine One. The press office at Andrews AFB wouldn't give me the fuel consumption numbers for the 747 that serves as Air Force One without the approval of the White House Press Office, which as I write this has yet to be given. But Boeing says its 747 burns about 5 gallons of fuel per mile. It's 895 miles from Washington to Des Moines, so a round trip brings the fuel consumption for the fixed-wing portion of the President's trip to 8,950 gallons." |

4) Obama Makes Derogatory Remark About Mentally Handicapped People:
from LA Times: Not bowled over by Obama's Special Olympics joke Athletes and others say they are disappointed with his remark on Jay Leno's show. When she met Barack Obama two years ago, Caitlin Cox proudly wore the two bronze medals she had won at the Special Olympics. The then-Illinois senator grinned as she showed him pictures of her signature bubble-gum-pink bowling ball and posed for photographs with her. Cox, who has Down syndrome, excitedly recalls that meeting each time she sees Obama's photo on a magazine cover or hears him mentioned on TV. Her ears perked up again Friday morning as her parents discussed the president at breakfast. Her mother, Suzanne Thompson, told her that Obama had made a joke about the Special Olympics on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on Thursday and that it might have hurt a lot of people. Cox, 21, dropped her head on the table and, after a brief silence, said the news made her sad. Thompson tried to console her daughter, telling her sometimes people do disappointing things. But as a mother and special education teacher, Thompson said, internally she was crushed by the president's insensitivity. She knows how destructive such stereotypes can be, and it infuriated her that an organization dedicated to empowering millions of people with developmental disabilities would be reduced to a late-night punch line. "My heart just sank," she said. "To have the president make a comment like that when we're working so hard to change hearts and minds is just devastating." http://usconservatives.about.com/gi/...ial-olympics21 |

5) Obama thinks that people speak "Austrian" in Austria:
"Q Sonja Sagmeister from a little country, Austria, from Austrian Television. Mr. President, you said you came here to learn and to listen. So a quite personal question -- what did you learn from your personal talk with the European leaders? And did this change in a certain way your views on Europe and its politics? PRESIDENT OBAMA: It's an interesting question. I had already formed relationships with many of them. Some of them I had met when I traveled through Europe before my election. Some of them I had met because they came to Washington after the election. This is the first time I've been in a forum with so many of them at the same time. I'm extraordinarily impressed by the quality of leadership. I am constantly reminded that although there are cultural differences that are important and that we have to be sensitive to, what we have in common between Europe and the United States so vastly exceeds any differences that we have; that we should not forget why we are allies, and we should be careful about some of the easy stereotypes that take place on both sides of the borders. It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian -- wheeling and dealing -- and, you know, people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics." http://usconservatives.about.com/gi/...ama-4-04-2009/ |

There is also, not just with racism, but double standards in regards to mistakes made. Republicans making mistakes means they are dumb. Democrats making mistakes and suddenly it is admitted humans are not perfect.

Obama reads a great speech off a teleprompter and he is compared to Jesus and has news guys talking about tingles up his legs. Palin reads a great speech of a malfunctioning (found out later) teleprompter at the RNC and they say, "well, she was reading a speech someone else wrote, but delivered it well".

No cartoons by any "mature" liberals to show they do have a higher education than previously thought? Hmm, must be a slow day.

Oh no, a liberal wants a battle of resumes. How surprising. I donīt need people to tell me how smart I am unlike typical liberals like yourself.

Sadly, obama's gaffes are well insulated from the light of day by that media that michelle is so grateful for. If you're female and Republican, however, get ready to show EVERY blemish to the dim and superficial american voting block, courtesy of your local lamestream media.
Obama truly has managed to utterly destroy any of that 2008 facade of credibility, intelligence, and/or common sense. |

Dude, you claim it's Obama's responsibility to police a soccer game to make sure nobody boos the national anthem. You're just not smart. I don't need to compare my resume with yours to know that.

6) Obama's Teleprompter Fails, then Obama's brain short circuits
He calls an asthma inhaler a "breathalyzer" in one of the strangest runs of moron babble ever spat forth into existence by the President of the United States: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxxxGUeZtno |

Its actually a nebulizer? Something like that. They are the fancy ones that you give breathing treatments with. The inhaler is the portable one to stave off an attack. Breathalyzer is what that cops use!

Of course not. We fight with voting anti immigration bills through, not hiring illegals, and pumping billion into youth soccer until we win every match.
