I will always believe we would have a 3rd SB trophy if we played at ol Mile High in 2005. Plus a couple more trips to the playoffs the past few years no doubt.

Different atmosphere. IF Pitt never gets that big first half lead, Plummer may not have **** himself. With as loud as ol Mile High was Rapelisburger doesnt have such a hot hand, cant audible, a few more false starts and the D holds up. Thats my theory anyway.

Perhaps if 25% of the Broncos season ticket holders didn't sell to Pittsburgh fans that day, the atmosphere would've been more than good enough to accomplish just that.

The week prior Champ's 99yard int return was on a sweet Safety blitz by John Lynch. Pittsburgh "baited" us into making the same call in the same situation (goal-line stand), Rapistburger makes the correct read, and harmlessly motions his WR across the other side of the field. Ball is snapped, Denver DBs see no reason not to jump the routes with the S blitz ... until the motioning WR blocks Lynch and Pittsburgh have all the time in the world to find their open WRs in the endzone behind the Denver CBs. UGH! |

I just rewatched the 1987 beat down of Houston in the divisional round. I am trying to figure out which game to watch tonight, I have a mid 80's Detroit game I never watched.
