Default OT: Come up with your own MLB Re-Alignment Plan

While the Odds are, that if MLB even bothers to fix the league disparity, changes will trend towards the mundane and predictable. So, toss out your best Ideas for realignment here.

The You outspend everyone else in free agency so we are going to let you beat on each other Division
New York Yankees
New York Mets
Boston Red Sox
Philidelphia Phillies
New Jersey Blue Jays (have to relocate these guys to give them a fighting chance)

The fans might watch if it doesn't overlap with college football Division
Baltimore Orioles
Washington Nationals
Atlanta Braves
Florida Marlins
Tampa Bay Rays

The we are basically conceding St. Louis a play-off spot for the next 5 years Division
St. Louis Cardinals
Kansas City Royals
Chicago Cubs
Chicago White Sox
Pittsburgh Pirates

The why the hell do we even have home games in April when we are still buried in snow Division
Milwaukee Brewers
Minnesota Twins
Cincinnati Reds
Cleveland Indians
Detroit Tigers

The please have your immigration papers in order Division
Texas Rangers
Houston Astros
Arizona Diamondbacks
Colorado Rockies
Seattle Mariners

The maybe in ten years they will just fall off into the Pacific Division
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Francisco Giants
Oakland Athletics
San Diego Padres
Anaheim Angels

everyone that was in the AL moves to the NL and everyone in the NL now moves to the AL. rules remain the same--DH in the AL, no DH in the NL.

Move the Astros to the AL West, balancing both the AL and NL with three 5 team divisions. Good enough.

The only real problem baseball has is fan indifference to watching welfare teams like the Royals, Marlins, etc. who get cut checks from the league's wealthier clubs and league shared revenue for >$60M ever year yet spend less than half of it on players.

You put in a hard $70M salary floor in and the FA market isn't nearly as much of a feeding grounds for the Yankees et al. Suddenly the Royals, Pirates, etc. are fielding competitive teams and the fans in those cities start to actually care. Then this "small market" myth disappears and we see a far more balanced and competitive league overall.

Interleague play should also be a rotating division v. division schedule where all teams in one division play all the teams in the other in equal series, no more handouts to teams like the Cards and Yanks who's "geographical rival" is a joke team. You play a three game series against each of the other division's teams, 15 games total, and done. Whatever team has the win/loss margin in interleague gets home field in the WS, with the All-Star game only used as a tie breaker should interleague play end with an exact .500 record.

Question, did you think this through at all?
Do you know if its 15 teams in each league, either you have an interleague game every day or 2 teams have a day off every day?
I am 100% against moving a NL team to the AL to "balance" the leagues out.
