What's the smallest denomination coin you will bend over to pick?

I am thinking the older you are the smaller the coin you will make the effort to pick up.

I've been picking up coins for along time, got a nice little Roth Ira going because of it.

If it's my money I dropped, I pick it up.

Just laying on the street...I don't have the time of day for anything less than a quarter. Even that's iffy.

If you ever see a bill on the street do you worry if there's a pile of **** under it? Occasionally I do.

I voted for quarter. Standards. But it has to be a shiny quarter. If its grubby, what's the point?

Depends....if a penny looks dirty or nasty, I'll let it sit, if it is nice and clean, I'll pick it up.

Same goes for nickels and dimes, but I'm less picky.

I'll pick up a quarter no matter what.

A penny. But then again, I'll occasionally pick up trash off the ground to throw away.

Judge's ruling: Should I wash my hands before I pick the coin up or after?

I found four $20 bills once... but I wouldn't have picked them up if it had been eighty $1 bills.

I worry that if I don't pick up that penny....then karma will insist that I have bad luck all day.

Coin is dirtier then your hands will ever be.

Ruling: Sterilize coin. Then wash hands.

How about the coins you already have in your pocket that have seen street time?

Yeah... and what about the women you've banged that have seen street time?

The point is everything is dirty so you might as well piss on your hands.

Dime and up. And only if it's clean and I'm not in pedestrian traffic. I'd stop for a five dollar bill in just about any scenario outside of poop involved. Twenty dollars for poop involved.

Even if it's people poop?

And sandwiched between two steaming poop buns?

I don't walk around looking at the ground... but if I saw a quarter I'd probably pick that up.

One time I saw a quarter lying in the street but when I bent over to pick it up, I realized it was actually a peso. I was so mad I could have murdered someone.

You're right Baja, I'd pick up a penny. It bothers me to see money laying on the ground. But if it looks really dirty I won't pick it up, I'll kick it out of sight, so it doesn't bother me.
