i hear the tourist spots are safe just dont go wandering the countryside outside of the city limits stay with the other tourists and if something does happen use the person in front of you as a human shield XD

There is a real **** storm brewing in Mexico. It seems the Mexican people are finally fed up with the all the corruption. It's about time.

We need to understand the role the US played in this. NAFTA was a disaster for Mexico. Wages fell by more than half. The US banks went down and bought up the local banks -- 25 of the biggest 30 banks in Mexico are now US owned. Why? To facilitate the laundering of drug money.

The CIA is also implicated in this.
