But I'll be online to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale if Shannon gets in there. I just think they'll make Shannon wait another year like Cris Carter. And they'll say it's because he was a glorified WR playing TE, and his blocking was average. Watch. hope I'm wrong. |

Hmm...that could be, but I know he won't go because it's Sharpe. Too much "flava clown"

It seems to me that I've read his posts saying that the HOF is a total joke. I do believe that Randy would already be enshrined if he'd played for... say... the Giants. Or the Redskins. Or the Cowpies.

You are always welcomed with us and leave the old bag in NY! I think I can swing this if Chargers win and I can sell some tickets to the AFC Championship game. A little extra Cha Ching in the wallets for some extra travel. How can the wife complain as it is football related and that is how i got the extra $. So, dont tell anyone but I am one Broncos fan that needs to root on the Chargers (then they can be embarrased at home by the Ravens).

I'll be there. And I think he's a lock along with Rod Wodson and Bruce Smith. None was better than Sharpe an only 1 currenly has an argument. He dominated and was loud enough to be a household name.

That's right Blue....I'll only go for Floyd Little if he ever gets in (which he won't) He was my all time fave player and should've been the first Bronco player in the Hall years before Elway got in. The Hall can suck it as far as I'm concerned.

The HOF is a joke... Little should be there for sure and so should Gradishar. But... it's a good reason to have a really awesome party with other Maners... if the budget can handle it, I'd love to be there.

You CAN HAVE the best of both worlds, i.e., you can keep your mini protest and still enjoy the cold beers with the other orange and blue crazies. Don't visit the Hall itself as your protest. When I was out there for 3 1/2 days for Elways's induction, here was the breakdown of how I spent my 84 hours there. 20 Hours Sleeping 5 Hours of Miscellaneous Sh*t 2 Hours in Hall of Fame where I met several former Broncos. 10 Hours eating meals in cool bars with die hards wearing jersies EVERYWHERE!!! 4 Hours at the induction itself 40+ hours of drinking and carousing with the whole Broncos fan base, cool fans of other teams like the Hogettes, etc. Visiting the Hall itself is cool for me cause I don't have the anger about it that you do. Plus I love the whole history of the league, not just the Broncos. But I was in there for 2 hours TOPS!! The bars around Canton are just packed with die hards and cool people just wearing their colors, drinking up a storm, and doing alot of laughing and smiling. Also your protest as you currently do it, is silent. No one knows it or sees it besides us on this board. What good does that do? I know it must make you feel better but it gets nothing done. **** it, lets do a protest for real. If Shannon gets in, lets get out there and print up a bunch of flyers touting Randy and Floyd. Let's get jersies made up and wear them proudly around the campus. Let's find out which writers will be in Canton for the weekend and lets see if we can get some time with them. I'm not trying to insult you dude, I just think silent protests are real weak. They don't do anything except maintain the status quo. Plus I'd really like to drink with you and your girlfriend sometime. C'mon dude, change your mind. |
