Default Draftees game tape, etc.

Since we all are probably wondering how our draft picks will do next year, I figured that looking at how they did in college would give us an idea, at least.

Feel free to add any videos you find of the draftees.

Von Miller

vs Nebraska

vs LSU (Cotton Bowl)

vs Texas

Rahim Moore

vs Cal

vs Temple (2009)

Orlando Franklin

vs Oklahoma (2009, played at Guard)

vs Pitt (pass blocking for one video, run blocking for the other)

Nate Irving

vs Georgia tech

vs Clemson (before car accident)

good video compilation

Julius Thomas

Compilation

Mike Mohamed

Virgil Green

vs Boston College

Jeremy Beal

vs Ok state

vs Tulsa (2009)

Anyone else notice Millers inside dipping move? Looks very effective, at least on the college level.

I still don't get why Moore was considered the draft's best safety. Every video I see he doesn't do jack other than get pushed easily out of plays, make lunging shoestring tackles (or at least tackle attempts) or just run up to the pile and hug one of his linemen.

Easily my least favorite pick. Even moreso when you consider that we have some viable future players at that spot in McBath and potentially Champ.

Just watched the Miller part. Awesome stuff. They used him like a DE. He's very good at forcing the run back inside. No one really moved him. He just needs be careful of overrunning when he blitzes.

Moore's strength is supposed to be coverage, and these videos generally do not show downfield coverage. If we had real scouting tape, I imagine he'd be more impressive.

I'm just not a big fan of drafting a safety that can't tackle. Even in a few of those clips where they show a wide view of him in deep coverage he doesn't really do anything too spectacular.

I don't claim to have seen anything he's done outside of those clips, but I was expecting more out of the supposed "best" safety in the class and a 2nd round pick that could have been used on one of the 2 available DTs that were borderline 1st round talents according to just about everyone.

I thought the same thing about Moore, lots of missed tackles.

I have a feeling Irving is going to become my favorite player out of this draft.

Franklin needs to get much quicker with the first drop...unless he got on guys quick, it was over...he had no recovery and needed the help side from the rb...not saying this happened on every play, because this is such a small percentage of snaps he took...just saying that is what I saw. I think moore is a above average tackler, but we didn't get to see the ball hawking ability of this guy. Irving is tough, this guys got a motor on him.

I think they all look pretty good in college. It's a big step to the Pro's. We'll see how they fare when they're competing against the real thing.''

I think Moore is a cover guy with ball instincts...and I can see that to be true. Carter is the guy with the attitude who likes to stick his nose in it. Nice FS/SS combo in my opinion.

Both TE's look promising.

Irving looks like a stud.

Mohamed looks like a gamer and Miller is a future All-Pro. And, Franklin is a beast.

Great draft!!!

Mohamed looks really slow to me.

Green looks good though, why did he drop so far?

That dude is fast and slippery in traffic. I love the pick, hopefully we use him how he should be used.

Knee surgery/injury. I'm actually more impressed by his blocking than I was expecting to be. Hopefully his knee doesn't become a chronic issue for him, because he looks like a steal aside from that.

Half the time Thomas looks lost although it might be because he's only played a year but Green looks better to me

That's exactly how I feel about him too. He has that "it" factor that seperates great Middle Linebackers from Good linebackers.

I can't wait to watch him

Nate Irving looks REALLY impressive! He is instinctive and physical like Al Wilson but a bit slower. I'm excited to actually have a talented starting LB's with DJ, Von, and Irving.

Here is a video that has a few bits with Nate Irving. A LOT of impressive plays, he's incredibly instinctual. One of those guys who is just in the right spot most of the time. You can really see how he's grown since that Clemson game at the top of the thread.

Also, tough as nails. Somewhere in the middle he gets hurt, and then gets back out there and plays.

Initial thoughts.

Franklin looks like a classic run blocking guard, not a Tackle. I could be wrong, but I would think he eventually moves inside.

Irving has some of the quickest play recognition I have seen in a while. It seems like he makes his decisions within the first half second of the play (which means he is reading his keys), then he attacks full speed. He definitely had more of a MLB mentality than anyone we have had around in a while. He doesn't play scared.

I don't get the Mohamed pick.

I will be very excited to see the TE's develop. They both have a very interesting skillset if it is properly used.

Fox beleives Oline/Dline with long arm spans to get off blocks
It's just the type of guy he wants.
This is one reason why Paea does not fit Fox's scheme

Per Legwold,Denver may have went hard after Fairley if he dropped past DET the other guy they wanted in the 1st round was Liguit
