So much for Champ playing Safety. Hopefully he can stay at CB for a while.

I think Champ will eventually play FS.

I'm extremely happy with this pick. I've known Rahim since his Jr year in high school. I'll post some photos of him from back then. He's a really good guy. A real leader. He was All City as a 10th grader and playing safety he always seemed to get his hands on the ball. I wasn't surprised that he was a starter as a true freshman and his sophomore year he led the nation in picks. I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting a lot of playing time really soon. He's not the type of guy that takes a long time to develop.

I really like this selection. Going forward the Broncos now have two very good young S's. We need someone to learn from and replace Hill, and Moore is likely it. He's got receiver-like body and ball skills with great instincts, quickness and good straight-line speed to cover CF and ballhawk.
Bruton has speed to burn (4.40-40), but looks a lot better in man than zone. He's probably Dawkins replacement and should be a star. McCarthy has great instinct, good straight line speed, but I think he's a solid back-up for both S spots at this point.

I was thinking that as well, but more "Finally we dump McBath". Guy was always lost, hurt and didn't have the physical skills.

I like Moore. I think he was a little undervalued because he had an off year statistically compared to his junior year. The guy seems to react really well to the ball. That can shave .10 or more off of his 40 time compared to faster safeties that dont react as well. Even though he only had one INT in 2010, its still the same guy who had 10 INTs in 2009. So, we know he can ballhawk. Like many of you, Im disappointed withe DT situation but I still like this pick and it compliments the Von Miller pick nicely. We add a guy who can pressure the QB along with Doom, so it makes sense to get a good ballhawking CF. The guy moves well and seems to play faster than his 40 time.

I hate, hate, HATE this pick. He's a toothpick who can't tackle. John Lynch and Shannon Sharpe both looked like they could pick this guy up and snap him in half. Out of all the players in this year's draft, this is the one that I absolutely did NOT want Denver to draft. With Paea, Bowers and Austin still all on the board, it made me sick to my stomach when we picked Moore. This is Alphonso Smith II. A "ballhawk" who can't tackle anybody.

Here's some "highlights" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0sFfFdQ-u0

But you might want to turn the audio down on that clip and play the audio from this one instead while you watch it, will be much more appropriate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg

Ugh. McFadden is licking his chops right about now.

I hope he can tackle. As the last line of defense, we cant have him missing tackles all over the place.

If anything, you should be complaining about the Franklin pick, not this one.

This one is full of Moore being blocked out of the way, trying to arm tackle and avoiding contact like the plague. It's pretty long, though, so you might have to restart Yackety Sax a time or two:
