I'm pretty sure Champ matches up a little better with a rookie receiver than whatever stiff you have at RT matches up with the draft's premiere edge rusher.

All of you people crowing about Von Miller are fools. Ignorant fools who evidently don't understand one of the simple, timeless axioms of football:

You earn the right to rush the passer by stopping the run.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Broncos had THE SECOND WORST RUSHING DEFENSE IN THE NFL last year and have done NOTHING to fix it this offseason.

Why the **** would I care about a 230 pound outside linebacker rushing the passer when I'm steamrolling the middle of your defensive line with the NFL's best rushing attack? Von Miller will be getting his **** pushed in with the rest of your front seven. Then he'll bite on a play fake and Jonathan Baldwin will roast your secondary for a long TD.

****, Baldwin and Miller are basically the same size. Hell, they benched nearly identical amounts at the combine. Keep your head on a swivel, Vonny, otherwise Johnny's gonna knock it off when Charles springs to the outside.

If the Broncos had drafted Dareus I might be sitting here a little worried your defense was actually going to improve. As it is...it's still the same bag of ****, just with an older secondary and a useless, undersized linebacker who is going to have precious little opportunity to rush the passer....because you guys suck balls against the run. Oh, and Miller sort of sucks against the run, too:

Quote:
Not a smashmouth, physical linebacker who breathes fire, and lacks the swagger associated with many special talents. Does not always compete hard at the point of attack (despite possessing shock in his hands) and at times appeared to be saving himself as a senior, showing lapses against the run. Is a tad on the light side — reported to the Senior Bowl at 237 pounds and weight dropped closer to 230 during the season — needs to add and maintain bulk. Was immature early in his career and has yet to become a vocal leader.
Jesus, really, is John Fox an idiot? He inherited one of the worst run defenses in football in a division with two of the league's best rushing offenses...and he drafts a 230-pound linebacker......

He's as dumb as you guys are as you crow about this pick.

Have fun in the cellar.

Hey numbskull! Miller played excelled on all three downs at A&M .. not just rushing the passer..

Here's a quote from Nate Solder put that in your pipe and choke on it!

"Colorado offensive tackle Nate Solder recently confessed he had trouble touching Miller, let alone blocking the Texas A&M linebacker, during workouts at the Senior Bowl. Considering that Solder was drafted 17th in the opening round by the New England Patriots, that simple jaw-dropping testimonial is worth more than 1,000 words of yada, yada by draftnik Mel Kiper Jr.

When I asked if Solder's story of can't-touch-this speed was true, Miller answered with a laugh that revealed far more truth than his words.

"Nate Solder," Miller said, "he's an extremely talented guy. Whenever I go up against any guy, I'm going to try my best to get to the quarterback, and I'm going to try my best to get from Point A to Point B so fast I'm not really worried about the tackle. I can't even look."

Bye Bye Cassel!!! :-))

That's great, bro.

Champ is a year older and a year slower.

While Champ is busy with Bowe on one side, Baldwin is going to destroy **** on the other.

Have fun with that.

Bob like 99% of other KC doofus absolutely hate this pick so the initial post is a total lie/fabrication/saving face/cover up.

I'd be slightly scared if you had anything on defense besides Von Miller.

You don't.

Dareus was the right pick for Denver and man did they blow it. Hell, Fairley would have been a better pick.

Uh, yeah, there's been no free agency, and precisely ONE round of draft.

Is Durka Durr your first language? Or your second? You're quite fluent, fatboy.

I get a kick how you're so excited about your 10-6 year on a last place schedule. It's going to be a hole new story for ya this year. I am guessing below .500 for the chiefs. That's where they're the most comfortable. And remember, a good team does not get beat by a ****ty 4-12 team....just saying....

Miller has a quickness that you cant coach. we haven't had a player that had that kind of sudden movement in forever. He'll be a beast.

I crack up at the not a 4-3 backer , with his speed and size .... See Ian Gold was everywhere , missed a lot of tackles but still he was around the ball , 240 pound LB that can cover a TE ..... Besides someone that you can move all over the field isnt a limited player ...........
