Default Von Miller Sports Science

Thought we all could enjoy this with millers name coming up more frequently on the broncos draft board……..

At this point I think no one can really be upset with anyone we get at number 2, they all seem like stud probowlers in the making, but von miller with the same top speed as larry fitz? Wow, I think he could do just fine with whatever coverage duties he will be given in the 4-3

As fast as Larry Fitzgerald and hits as hard as Demarcus Ware?

I'll take two, please.

It's a really good episode and he's a hell of an athlete for sure.

Way better than the Dareus episode where he spears the QB with an illegal automatic first down hit lol.

Some small comparison notes to PP episode:

Miller is at 70% of his top speed of 19 mpg in 4 strides
Peterson surpasses Miller's top speed in 3 strides.
He makes his read .27 seconds (with no OL obstructing view), Peterson has made his read in his drop steps and is moving forward in .5 seconds.

I would be extremely pleased with Miller, he's my #2 choice after PP

What stands out to me is how fast he accelerates in only 3-4 steps. As a joker, he would absolutely fly through gaps. I have very little doubt that he would be a double digit sack player and situational rushing monster if used correctly. The question in my mind is can he be an effective every down Sam in a 4-3?

You're right, just throwing in some comparable football talk.

But it IS about Miller and he should be celebrated as a fantastic athlete and prospect.

.........not as good though

Way to jack a thread about your boy.

But that's what you do. What can be said about you that hasn't already been summed up perfectly?!

And the Number 1 Forum Loser for the Summer of 2006: Angry Llama

Why he sucks: Biggest drama king on the Mane. Biggest poser on the Mane. Bizarre compulsion to immerse himself in mindless hype over this week's favorite athlete. Author of spectacular hissy fit meltdowns when his teams inevitably choke. No sense of perspective or slightest inkling of how he's perceived on this board.

Defining moment: Predicting a sweep for the Mavs in The Finals and then disappearing for several days after they inevitably choked.

Good points: His transparent and pretentious affectations, and inability to handle defeat like an adult, make him ripe for parody.

Potential for redemption: I hope he never changes.

Strange.

I think its time for those nice nurses to come and take the computer out of the room so that you can have some time to bounce yourself off of those fun padded walls.

Seriously though.

What are you going to do if the Broncos dont pick Peterson? You'll have to take down all the love notes and stuff. Or you could become a fan of whoever he ends up with next, right?

Not bad mileage for a performance oriented machine!

Is he a hybrid by chance?

Kind of off topic'ish but......I seemed to have missed the Ghostbusters thing somehow but see it used in a lot of threads.

Can someone kindly fill me in so that i'm not sitting here scratching my balls every time I see it referenced?

Such a great thread, also all of Llama's obsessions are from the Texas area, just like Miller.
