I doubt it. She really adds nothing to the overall story. And unless GRRM has told the show runners that she winds up playing a big part in the upcoming books I see no reason to bother.

According to the guy in the video Lady Stoneheart is responsible for getting Jamie Lannister and Breanne of Thath together.

Do you mean when Brienne was escorting Jaime back to King's Landing or later when she goes to Jaime at Riverrun and lies to him that the Hound has Sansa and he will kill her unless Jaime goes with her?

If it's when she lies I think the show's storylines are too different to make it work. Jaime would still need to turn down becoming Hand of the King, be told to leave King's Landing, and then take over Riverrun and Raventree before he would meet Brienne again. I can't see how it would work unless they have Stoneheart hold Brienne and Pod hostage most of next season.

They are splitting up the next books (Really putting the books through the blender and see what falls out). To stretch it out I'm thinking they will be using more of the smaller story arches from the books.

http://geektyrant.com/news/game-of-t...-book-material

Quote:
A lot of fans have been wondering what is going to happen with the HBO series once all of George R.R. Martin's books are used up as material. The author is still writing his next installment of the book series, but HBO isn't concerned with it at the moment and they plan on moving forward with the series with or without the material.

HBO Programming chief Michael Lombardo had this to say to the Television Critics Association:

Quote:
"We're not off on our own in respect to at least next season. Obviously George is an integral part of the creative team, so next season every move is being choreographed very closely with him. Certainly after next year we'll have to figure it out with George. The book's not finished at this point, but we're in conversations with him. We're not concerned about it."
He also clarified previous movie rumors saying, "there's no conversations going on about a movie." He also said that they are "not talking about ending the show in the next two years." That means we'll get at least three more seasons.

Siddig was enough to set it off, but that in addition to Pryce has me in full on nerd crack high.

I just caught up with the last episode last night.

Kind of mixed feeling about him stealing the Nordic myth tree of life Yggdrasil. Instead of the Norns sitting under it weaving time there was the 3 eyed raven and "Children".

I like the series not sure if I would ever read the books though. I thought the 2nd to last episode was a better finale than the last with the epic fight scene. Will miss the red head, red heads are hot.

This show makes me want to rewatch Rome again.

You must be pretty upset about all shows that use borrowed mythology, huh?

Nope, Star wars used quite a bit. I just thought the tree of life and the 3 eyed raven were blantant rip offs of yggdrasil and Odin.

It is all made up anyway, maybe the tree is a thread that ties our world to theirs? It is fantasy...

Pryce is a great cast. I can totally see him as an uncompromising stick in the ass pious sparrow. Just think of him vs Cerci. Can't wait to see her fall.

Feeling the same. I think he will be perfect for the character of Doran Martel.

Guess this confirms thoughts on Jon Snow

http://winteriscoming.net/2014/07/18...-game-thrones/

He (Sean Bean) also noted, “And that should happen, shouldn’t it? I’ve definitely got some unfinished business that needs to be resolved there. I’m obviously not Jon Snow’s dad. And you need that to be revealed at some point, don’t you? So Bran would kind of be the one having the flashback, and he would see Ned praying, right? And revealing those things? You never know what those guys are going to do with that. It’s got to be something special. But I’m into that. I certainly would be into that. Print that! Give them a nudge. Hopefully I’ll get a call soon.”
