Bran's holed up in a cave north of the wall with the Three Eyed Raven, where he is presumably being "groomed" (or something) to take his place.

Rickon was being taken to Skagos by Osha for "safety". Although how the most savage land mass in Westeros is supposed to keep him safe, I'm not sure yet

Seriously. Now that Gilly popped Sam's cherry, hopefully we'll see less of them. Their interactions don't contribute to the plot. It's all filler.

Disagree here, it's been a meh season but the recent episode was actually good. Next weeks episode looks promising as well.

****ing Gilly and Sam... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.... they are trying so hard to make Sam sound relevant. At least Ghost was cool in that scene.

Loved the final 15 minutes of the show. That was great. Cersei finally getting some of her own medicine. The sword cuts both ways.

Didn't do much for me. The Sam portion was pointless. The slave pit scene made no sense whatsoever. The Dorne stuff seemed to have barely any substance and seemed primarily designed to show some titties. The episode just fell flat on nearly all fronts. Seeing Cersei get locked up was the only good part of the episode to me.

I pretty much agree. I'll add that the fighting pit was supposed to be people that wanted to fight because it made them celebrities but instead we got the equivalent of backyard professional wrestling.

But, I was down right giddy realizing what was going to happen to Cersei. It played it very well.

The whole Puritan story line is getting lame, which caused me to under enjoy CL getting thrown in a cell. Having said that...really enjoyed Oliver Cromwell giving her the business.

It does setup Robert Strong who I'm excited to see more about so that's probably why I'm enjoying that story line.

i think for the first time in Season 5 the wheels of change are in motion. Sansa was leaning heavily on Ramsey on that he won't be the heir to Winterfell because he's a bastard and she picked up what appears to be a weapon. We also see again that Theon/Reek is a totally lost cause in going directly to Ramsey, he didn't even go up to the tower to help Sansa. Agree that the Sam stuff is boring but seeing the Ghost was awesome, however I found the Dorne storyline even more boring.

We also see that two of the most popular characters meeting for the first time, Tyrion meets the Queen of the Dragons. Like I said the next episode looks promising.

That is awesome. I wished he had more "print time" in the books. Who are they referring to surviving this season in regards to Maribald?

That probably puts a stake through the heart of Daario = Euron for purposes of the TV show. Unless, of course, Euron is using a magical glamour to appear as Daario, in which case they would still need two actors.

Says very little about the book theory, though, due to all the departures we've already seen.

So is Jon Snow's sword made out of dragon glass or is there another type of steel that can kill a white walker?

Valyrian steel. Don't expect many complainers after tonight's episode. That was a blast! Nice to get Tyrion back to being more of himself as well.
