Still into Dick Dale heavily here...nothing beats listening to this stuff driving in a snowstorm (I know that sounds weird, but it is true).

Here's a pic of the King in action from Cleveland last month.

A near fatal error on my part as you don't get in the way of the King while he's at work....check out that expression

I'm totally amazed by this guy....not only does he play a right-handed guitar upside down and left handed, but (unlike Hendrix) he doesn't even restring it!!.....He plays the thing totally upside down and backwards....my jaw hits the floor everytime I see him play.

Live In Chicago". I miss the Finest! I love Bart's and Albums On The Hill here in Boulder, but I spent a good 25% of my time in Greeley in the Finest.

That is exactly how I remember him when I saw him at the CATWALK in SEATTLE, WA. ľOh, a few years ago...

Did he give you the "HOT OIL in the Microwave on your GIRL FRIEND" speech?!?

THE VICTOR is still one of my FAVORITES...

Oh yeah....that's pretty much his uniform. I think I remember the hot oil thing as well. I'd recommend a live Dale show to anyone w/out hesitation.

Got the Jimi Hendrix Live at the Isle of Fehmarn official bootleg today from Dagger Records.....other than being a cheap ass digipak (I Freakin' hate those things!!) it's pretty cool.....decent sound for an "official boot" and the performance....well, it's live Hendrix and his last ever show....that's all one needs to know.

Listening to Depeche Mode's "Violator" and NIN's "Downward Spiral." Just finished getting down some drum licks from Sunny Day Real Estate's "LP2", Ben Folds' "Rockin the Suburbs", and Bruce Hornsby's latest live disc.
